I just ordered my first led. Hydro huts prow grow 400w I've read on them for a long time. And seen a few good grows. any body have any input on them or done a grow with them? Thanks to the future from the past. Stay irie

It is with a heavy heart that I tell you, I've owned a Pro Grow LED before, it was awful, and I returned it within a week.
I'm sorry, somebody had to tell you.
If you have been following any of the grow journals they give links to, or watched the "Propoganda Pharms" youtube channel, they're not legit.
I made the same mistake, too, so don't feel bad.
I would recommend reading threw a few of the threads in this LED forum, as we are the most knowledgeable, and experienced LED growers out there.
I would also recommend looking into Area 51 LED grow lights.

I'm hearing so much on area 5but I was set on the hydrohut 400 for a few months. I need to go into flower ASAP. Should I send it back and use my CFL t5 flower lights unrolled I can get a new led.? If I have to spend an extra hundred or so its no big deal I just need a good light for a 3x2.5 tent ASAP

That's really weird. I've had my PG 400 since September. Harvested my first crop in December (running 12/12 from seed). I got 110 grams off 2 plants, so don't believe everyone who is bashing this light.

Did u flowerunder full spectrum or just the flower spec.?

110 grams from 260watts of cheap chinese leds sounds about right
..........you got good advice in here, get your $549 dollars back by refund, and buy a area51 fixture for around the same sgs/xgs both will produce more yield for less wattage

I kind of got it as a present. It's a long story. but I'm stuck with the light until I decide to buy a new one
Which ill make my desicion after this grow. I respect all your opinions and facts and do take them into consideration and I ask you respect me on me choice as well. I'm not a pro but I'm full of Passion and growing all plants is a huge hobby of mine. Farming is a gamble you win and you lose and its all an expieriment to me. I just want to know if I should be using my full spec.
Or just flower.and if I pull 110g off two plants that's over a quarter pound of fine Sensimilla I will get for myself and for that ill only praise Jah. Thanks irie body for all advice!

i just buy cheap, china cheap. stuff can be close to junk but at $.5 a watt compared to $10 a watt... i can throw them away. I get alot of half the light going out but then use them for still, they are just half the electrical

Please keep in mind that this was my first grow. They suffered nitrogen toxicity and they were hermies (grew from bag seed). also, I grew 12/12 from seed, so yes I got less of a crop but I got it fast110 grams from 260watts of cheap chinese leds sounds about right

I have a Pro-grow 180 and a half burned out BS 240. I like my PG 180 my last grow was 3 1/2 oz in a 14x15x17 box. I used LST and the BS as side lighting in MG. Some people freak out saying the PG is not bright enough for growing dope,bullshit. Bad Karma said he hated it, how could you know in a week if the light was good or bad?
