The robots nasa uses are ALIVE!? hahahawow.......that is insane....a couple of those photos look like they could be deserts here on earth....kinda chilling to think that those rovers could be the first sign of life that planet has ever had...or had in the past however may years..........and that crater was friggin huuuuuuuuuuuuuuge.......
^^^I was thinking the same thing myself and I was just contemplating on busting his balls or not... HAHA^^^The robots nasa uses are ALIVE!? hahaha
I don't think so. I'm not very versed on mars, but I think the temperature differences are way to extreme for any earthly plant to survive on the red planet. Plants need oxygen, co2, and a certain temperature range(not to mention sun and nutes)... Mars atmosphere would have to have all of these things plus a watering cycle- which would need clouds, unless they automated it like we can do in our grow rooms .do you think maybe they are taking life up there to see if it will live? "planting seeds" so to speak.
Thats why my name is "wetarded" Duhh....i never said plants. i said "life".
the whole point in trying is so "we" can find something. don't things live in the arctic? might just be a microscopic something, but you never know. why not try? why are we there in the first place?Thats why my name is "wetarded" Duhh....
I think there is a bug that can remain dormant for extended periods(like decades) of time in a frozen state of "hibernation". But once the temps get warm enough for the bug, I'm sure it needs oxygen and a food source in order to live.....
So unless some animal can adapt to the Martian environment than I wouldn't see any point of bringing an animal to see it freeze to death... Every living thing has a threshold level that it can survive. So unless "we" can find an animal that doesnt eat anything except Martian dirt, breaths mostly co2, and likes/tolerates bitter cold (freezing) weather, than theres no point in trying... Just my humble opinions anyways.

To take some pretty pictures so the tax payers don't feel so robbed......the whole point in trying is so "we" can find something. don't things live in the arctic? might just be a microscopic something, but you never know. why not try? why are we there in the first place?
