I would assume clones from clones has been done so often that it's considered a normal practicefinally a thread where everyone agrees.
okay well i hear ppl say you cant clone from a plant that has been cloned befor has to be from a mother plant is this true and if so whats the truth behind it whats reasoning for it not to work.
Oh really ?: lol Please do explain this to me ?:I would assume clones from clones has been done so often that it's considered a normal practice
Dr. Jekyll
Not to be a nay-sayer or just offering contradiction, but each generation of a clone from a clone becomes just a bit less stable, and eventually they can become unstable
There is a limit to how many generations can be cloned from a clone
Mr. Hyde
the clone off that plant is 75 % the next cut is 50 % the next is 25 % the next has lost the genetics
where, in your fantasy land?what im saying here is proven
You are so wrong. I have 5 strains I have had over 5 years and I have a harvest every three weeks and I continually am resetting new yield marks. I currently have 13 strains and no mothers and 2 of the strains that I have had for 5 years I got from a friend that had them over 8 years before me. and by the way, the hay or wet grass smell has nothing to do at all with cloning, its from not drying the plaant properly after harvest. Here's your sign, dumbass.you can clone from a clone a thousand times. BUTTTTTTTTTT there is a problem . the seed you plant Is 100 percent . the clone off that plant is 75 % the next cut is 50 % the next is 25 % the next has lost the genetics . it will start to grow wild. after the first cut from seed you will notice a decrease in yield and thc strength . the more you clone from a clone the further you get away from the seed. this is an major issue. after 3 or 4 times you will notice it will not look that great when flowering and being smoked and when its dry it will not smell . might smell like hay. or wet grass. its very common to over clone. my advice is what commercial growers do the professionals . me . plant that seed . never flower it leave it in veg for a year or so until you get sick of it . just take cutting off of it, your genetics are the very best, mommy plant. what im saying here is proven . if your only doing it for our personal smoke , it will be fine. just know sooner or later its time to plant a seed .
ive got plants right now that have been cloned from a clone, cloned from a clone, clone, cloned from a clone, clone, cloned from a clone lol
Preach it brother!! haha^^^i did sooo much research on the topic not too long ago. i found almost nothing regarding mutated genes or any data to suggest instability. i do remember reading a while back (school days) that mutation happens but it exists more in theory than in practice.
Boy smoking this 5th & 6th generation Purple Voodoo I sure the hell cant tell. lolyou can clone from a clone a thousand times. EXACTLY..ive got 6th gen plants still producing the same quality bud as i started. maybe its just the strains im running but ive never had a issue with the genetics being watered down in any way from doing this.
Now heres the growers... What up fella's ?: How yall's bitches doing ?: I have a few going myself. Lost Coast OG,Grape-48, a few of my F1's I just breed, Night Shade, on and on.. lolYou are so wrong.
