Even with good time, he won't be coming out until he's an old, old man.
He got what he deserves IMO, the only problem I have with the case is the prosecutor wants to push for another murder trail because of the hung jury.
Waste of time and money if you ask me.

Murder 1 was a typical prosecutorial tactic: Overcharge, then coerce defendant to plead guilty out of fear of being convicted on the overcharge. Dunn should have been properly charged with M2. The jury probably would have convicted on M2, because Dunn probably was actually guilty of M2. M1 requires premeditation, which is a stretch given the facts.
