If I remember right I complimented you when you first built this rig and had no plants in it. It looks great with the girls in it.
Yep! fermenting sugar.Im going to make a guess based on color and composition... Yeast CO2? ive been wondering what it is too
That's just a pencil "The difference between science and screwing around is writing it down" (Adam Savage).Nice setup very clean! Is that stinky joint storage in your machine room?
Most drivers are from Satisled, I have these. Three of them failed with the first hour, a fourth failed with a loud bang after a couple days (cap blown). So highly not recommended. But as long as they do work the efficiency is surprisingly good. These drivers are powering 4 vero's each. There is another one of these that powers 5 vero's.I'm interested in what specific drivers you are using for the Vero 10s?
I can't tell but is there a line attached to the top cap of that bottle? I'm sure that space will work nicely for LEDs. I used pretty much the same cabinet with a 400W HPS for a while. Had only one shelf inside at one of the lower settings that i just kept supplies in. So mine was just a flower cab. What temps are you running at with the LEDs? It was hard to keep mine below 80-84*F with the HPS using 6" inline for exhaust.Yep! fermenting sugar.
Well that's just peachy. I have 7 Satisled drivers on their way. 1 extra in case of failure. Not that same model though. Most drivers are from Satisled, I have these. In hindsight I would have used Meanwell and plan on replacing everything with Meanwell.drivers after this grow.
The cap of the bottle is screwed on loosely, there is no line probably just the shadows playing tricks. You are probably right that 400W is about the maximum of what a cabinet like this can take with a normal exhaust fan, otherwise the air inside just becomes too hot. The advantage of LEDs is that the temperature of the canopy stays lower, for me it's 24C. Plus of course that LEDs deliver more light per ingoing Watt. Looks like a good harvest you had there!I can't tell but is there a line attached to the top cap of that bottle? I'm sure that space will work nicely for LEDs. If it's the aluminium encased waterproof drivers, I think they may be more solid.Well that's just peachy. I have 7 Satisled drivers on their way. 1 extra in case of failure. Not that same model though.
That is smart, I have blown up two 12V wall warts and concluded they are not meant to run full time near capacity. Especially when relying on active cooling to prevent the COB from melting, better not skimp on the 12V fan power.I did order a Meanwell PLC-30-12 driver for the 12v fans, as it doesn't appear the 12v out on the Satisled drivers have enough mA to power them.
Can't remember it's been so long but I never really pulled less than 6oz out of that cab, usually around 7-8.The cap of the bottle is screwed on loosely, there is no line probably just the shadows playing tricks. Awesome! That'll work. Just have seen a lot of people not even look at that airflow pattern or realize that CO2 is heavier and falls, then place it low with no great circulation so just ends up at the bottom of the room not doing a whole lot.Skunky I would be happy with that yield. About the CO2 distribution, there really is a lot of air movement going on thanks to the four PC fans (12W of very efficient fan power). I looked at the air patterns using smoke and it basically circles around clockwise. So from the bottle it flows to the left and then straight into the canopy, circles around a few times, is then bled into the veg room, circles around a few times there and is the expelled.
Hi Chronikool. What happened since last time is that tops have been getting heavier with the good stuff The stretching has thankfully stopped at 1 cm from the light. The star of the show are the two cindy's (C99), they are furthest ahead smell so so sweet. It is a joy to open the cabinet and be greeted with the sweet tropical fruit aroma. They are also frostier than the Indica Crystal Extreme (ICE) although the ICE is still busy laying down the trichomes. The creator of C99 advices to top at the fourth node but it was not clear to me if he meant under that node or above. I topped above 4th node but am now pretty sure it should be below, as there are six pretty even tops from each plant and the other two tops remain stagnant. Then what happened....?
I'm glad you like it Smokey. A canopy as dense as this does have issues with high relative humidity. It's mostly around 65 but can go up to 80. This would freak out a lot of growers I guess, I'm relying here on the super health of the plants to fight off fungus infections. The plants are well acquainted with (good) fungus since this is an organic grow and the medium at this point is one huge fungal network.Beautiful work, what a great creation you've made.
Hey, questions for you - from this picture way back in your first post. Do you have any issues with such a dense canopy? What are your thoughts on the penetration you have
Nice to know that somebody else is running them so close to the lights.....sans lens huh!The stretching has thankfully stopped at 1 cm from the light. The star of the show are the two cindy's (C99), they are furthest ahead smell so so sweet.
