Not as big as I thought they're 15 and 10 inches! So I expect yours won't get bigger! They absolutely reak of dank now and are covered in resin, pistils all turning now :)

Yeah man that's how i been doing the previous trichome pictures!
Still a week at least on the big, I reckon 2 in the smaller one then chop chop chop chop chop! BUZZING can't believe I made it, big credit for all the help, especially you cool and Spanky! Not too mention kushdaddy and everyone else. Thank you :)

no problem man, im just here to spread the knowledge and experiences that ive been through and pass that on to others.ive made many of mistakes and you all can learn from that :) then we'll grow so much weed that they will have to let it be free. im a big supporter of legalization nationwide and wishing good luck to the people in the states where its still illegal and becoming legal soon.we all have to do our part to fight the demonization of our beloved plant, and the growers are the ones behind the scenes making it all possible.

Yeah defo man but I'm not in the states and where I am I highly doubt it will be legal! But I'll push it till the day I die! Roll one!

thanks everyone!!! just checked them and they look and smell fantastic, the smaller one is so sticky its unbelievable and really packing the weight on now, the bugger ones not quite o resiny at the top but thats my bad. should still be gorgeous smoke it looks epic! im gonna chop the bigger one this weekend and the smaller one hopefully the week after. will update on harvest and smoke reports!!!

ok so ima be babysitting my friends first grow for a week or 3 lol its a lemon skunk. so im gonna have too chop the larger one on friday and leave too smaller one as its much better looking bud anyway!! only thing is my scales are at a friends and i wont get them for a week or so, unfortunatly no wet weight on that plant guys :( unless i find some first !

Just checked with the magnifier, first amber trichomes on the big one! Woooooooowooooooo she ready! Will it be OK till Friday? Or will they all turn fast? If so I'll chop her Tomoro!

It's the high you're aiming at. I think the more amber the better for a couch lock high!
You could also leave the first to have some more ambers and the second one with a few and compare the smoke and high. That's gonna be a nice comparison!

About the weight: It's better not to touch the buds at all if possible when harvesting, until they're dry. Trichs and pistils tend to fall off your buds when wet!

For what it's worth, color of trichromes has nothing to do with the type of high. Amber trichrome means thc degradation. If you want a couch lock type high, grow an indica dominant. If you want more of a uplifting head high grow a sativa dominant.

How fast or slow a plant turns, is different and depends on all kinds of factors.

Of course Indica-Sativa is a major factor but talking with experienced growers I have been told what I said before.

Anyway, they could all be wrong, no need to argue about something!

If what you heard or were told was that trichrome color dictates the type of high, then yes. All color tells you is how "ripe" the thc is in those lovely little things.

Clear = precursor
Milky = ripe THC
Amber = degraded THC

No arguing here mate, just friendly discussion. :joint:

OK guys its become apparent the big boy wont wait till friday and must be cut now, my question is will it be ok too leave the small plant in the cupoard with the cut down bud? i have nowhere but there too dry these babys. ASAP help please!! can i leave the lights on for drying it wont harm them will it?
