Hey GB I reckon my Green Love Potion Re-Veg is gonna look like your Willomena, well kinda..will put up some Pics.



This will be the 1st Re-Veg I have had any success with, tried one time before with a Lemon Strain(Bag-seed) but after a month was still No signs of Growth...now this little lady is on 2nd week of Re-Veg and getting *New Growth all the time.

The GLP has picked up a little since these Pictures...gotta do a bit of research(Left a few Buds on) and can't remember what happens with these? placed a 16" up-turned bucket underneath the GLP to raise Her a little too the 600 w Hps, its high because she is sat in the middle of My Ladies in waiting....been more *New Growth..will post new Pics...

You will notice my plants are multiplying - the A-51 is great with vegetative growth. Hoping for good things when it comes to flower!


Shakira is almost outside of her ring all the way around!


And little Willomena is catching up. Left a couple fan leaves for the growth tips that were slightly smaller than the others to help them catch up.

Thanks, CC! Shakira is my favorite too! Those leaves look like they will cut you! Went out and got her just for my birthday, and with all of the training, she won't be ready in time, but she will be a good birthday present nonetheless. I think the yield will be higher definitely... Some due to the training, but the veg time increase makes for a healthier and larger root system as well. Makes sense, now that I am seeing it, and it probably should have clicked before. While Shakira is a VERY short plant at the moment, she is as healthy as a horse, and without all of the training and topping, she would be MASSIVE. I have never vegged a plant this long in my little situation - she is at day 54 of veg. That DOES NOT include seedling time, so she is 75 days old. I held off on nutrients for too long, though. That's why Willomena caught her so fast. Willomena is at day 36. I also only recently switched my veg areas to 24/0 (last week). I was running 18/6 until I had the extra space.

Edit: I also highly recommend cloth pots. The root difference was obvious during transplant. The roots don't bind up, and really stay quite small, since they are getting air. I didn't have one large enough when I transplanted Shakira, and I needed to get her out of that 1 gallon cloth pot - it didn't have the velcro seams for easy transplanting like the Geopots do, (Thanks, Prosperian!!!) and I thought I might have to struggle getting her out. It wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. The roots were relatively compact and didn't grow through the sides. I ordered 3 gallon Geopots the same day.

I do think you've done an Amazing Job on the Training of Shakira, and the other Ladies.. I will have a look into the Geopots...been using Air-Pots for a while, but could only afford so many at one time, got summat like 7 x 3Ltr and 7-9 x 15Ltr..I forget exactly what...like the sound of the Velcro seams...

Shakira's last major trimming. - and her new bike...(her little sister gets the one with training wheels) <shedding a tear - she was getting SO bushy> She will bounce back quickly. I am still kind of surprised at the growth that occurs every day now.

Welcome aboard! While I think Nugbuckets was the authority (more or less) on this, I have recently been looking at Uncle Ben's technique as well. You really have to put the time in on this in the veg stage. I'm anticipating going another month, which will put Shakira at around 100 days. That is skewed a bit, because I just recently went to vegging 24/0 vs 18/6 - it was a space/time continuum thing - So, I think the patience will pay off, but UncleBen's topping goes with 4 mains and less foliage stripping. Might help ramp up to fill in some gaps. Just sharing my findings...

Thanks, Yodaweed! I have had neither of these ladies before, and I am SO looking forward to it. I haven't seen anything on white lemon anywhere as far as someone else growing it and reporting back, but it seems a VERY hearty strain. I started giving nutrients later than I should on the strawberry cough, and Willomena is close to making the turn at the edge of the ring catching Shakira.

Yo, Dave! Glad to have you back! The mainlining is going awesome - just taking too damned long...lol. Just gave Willomena her last major trimming.


I must have gotten one of the last SGSs. I wanted to keep the red spectrum, and time was an issue. I am just glad I didn't get on a waiting list. I'd have GLADLY taken one of the RWs
You will have to go back over the thread - you will see how much I have abused that monster plant. Had a burning incident - put out a code blue to the Dawg - fought deficiencies for a little while after as she tried to recover, but the amnesia haze is fattening up now, so I am out of the woods, I hope! I've got the whole canopy in a permanent claw, though. It's pretty ugly, but I was so happy to see the new growth on the buds - thought I killed her. Amnesia haze is picky, and that 12 week flowering time is still kicking my butt - got 36 days left, but who's counting??...THIS GUY! She smells just like lemon pledge, man! I just have to be careful not to do anything stupid, because the upper leaves aren't going to tell me anything except what an idiot I was a couple of weeks ago...lol.

Dude, I am NOT that sensitive...lol. I have no problem laughing at myself. I just updated yesterday for Daveroller's return with regard to Willomena, but since you are hungry for something. I HAVE topped Olivia (obsession) using UncleBen's method for 4 colas (topped just above 2nd true node, and training - not as much defoliating) and will be comparing to Willomena to see if I might be wasting a bunch of time doing all of this main-lining for 8. So, the race, and in the end, yield measurements, are on! Well, Olivia will win the race, but it's the yield that is the question. Olivia has been vegging for 10 days, and Willomena has been vegging for 45. They will probably hit the flowering tent about the same time. It is not a TRULY scientific test, because the strains are different (Olivia's 90% indica, and Willomena is around 50/50), but I should at least get an idea of whether I want to sacrifice the time or not.

That's Cool man, just been checking out Uncle Bens Topping Method, and Journaled it for future Reference.. I'm hoping the Ladies I've just Flipped to 12/12 in the last week take to the Topping I tried(Think they have) was done kinda at the last minute though..SGLP(The Re-Veg) is coming along nicely..though nothing like what you've been able to do...because she is a Re-Veg kinda not sure what to do with her(other than taking Clones in a few more wks) Could go on about her, but I wont...
