Hey Myles, as you probably know, HPS is a proven system for cash cropping and at this point LED just doesn't have the history that HPS has in the commercial sector. You might want to consider switching to LED for vegging to save some electricity instead of committing people's well being, and you're livelihood, to growing with a light you're not familiar with at the advice of people who you don't truly know. Remember there is a difference between HPS and LED growing, and while subtle, it is still there. And replacing HPS in a commercial setting is a real investment from what I've seen. Just look what Apache and Illumitex charge for 1000 watt HPS replacements. Ow. So if you do want to begin recouping your investment ASAP, you really should know as much as you can about a LED light IMO. The reason I suggest vegging with LEDs is that it's a less taxing growing process that will allow you to get used to LED growing. Plus LED panels veg very well right now. Even most of the budget ones.are you losing your mind or just venting frustration?
