Could be, thanks for the reminder I am going to go put some duct tape down around them adhesive side up right now...

I do think it is something the fungus gnats were carrying though, just because I suspect that is what is was last time.

Yeah man, critters are the bane of my exhistance lol... I am looking forward to harvesting and then shutting down the indoor grow for the summer. I am going to bomb those bitches into kingdom come!

I didn't mention it before but about 2 months ago there was an open house at a local hydro store. They had vendors from Botanicare, General Hydro, Pro-Mix, and about 4 others. I left with a bag that was about 20 lbs full of good shit. One of the vendors gave me a bunch of bottles of a miticide/fungicide/moldicide called 3-way. Just hit all the plants in veg with it, hope it helps the clones fungus/root aphid issue...

Here is a shot of the bag when I got home that day.

Yeah, it's one of those things that doesn't get widely advertised usually. Just happened to catch the right timing I think. They had a drawing too, somebody got a 1000w HPS with cool tube. There was some cool gear in that raffle...

This was back when we had the old laws in WA and had no idea what battle was brewing. I think with whatever new regulations, growing is going to slow way down and we will see less of that kind of thing and way higher prices for good smoke...

Just glad I grow my own!!

I can't hardly stand to smoke anything coming from a dispensary anymore, tastes like pure chemicals and pesticides. Not exaggerating, smoked a joint I got for free at an "open market" tonight. I could barely finish it. Smoked a bowl of White Fire OG, and a bowl of Tangelo recently and both had a very nasty chemical smoke (but I could sense the underlying awsomness of the smoke especially the tangelo). Too bad it has come to this to make a buck on MJ. No more of that shit, won't spend another dime on dispensary weed...

I know what you mean, sometimes I gotta drive 20-30 miles to get to a good dispensary

I don't have to worry about all that, no dispensaries allowed in mich. We have what are called Compassion Club's, cardholders can go to meetings which are nothing other than smokefests and try other growers herb to see if they want to grow that particular strain or not. I guess I could expand my gene pool that way, but I'm very leary because a friend got himself a nice mite infestation that way. Damn near lost his whole garden to the little fuckers...I wouldn't mind going to one and trying out some other growers wares though...lol

That sounds like an interesting idea, I bet the ratio of organic/pesticide free herb there is way higher! I used to try to search for the dispensaries that tested their flowers now I am going to make a list of those selling organic bud (not that I need to buy any for a while). Even then it might be "organically" drenched in azamax and spinosad late into flower.

Great point on the mites. I try to be especially careful after a run to the hydro store, never know what other growers are bringing through the store on their shoes.

A meetup like in Michigan would be cool, especially for the seed exchange potential.

So I just went to check the tape with my new magnifier a buddy gave me. The tape has been down for about 18 hours I would guess.
I found a few of these guys on there...

And I found just one of these on the tape.

I am about 98% sure this is a root aphid. Based on this picture it looks like bug C an adult male but it is more blocky in the rear and it is hard to make out the "dual exhaust" but I think it is there...

Yeah, it sucks big time. But, I did expect it, I know root aphids can be a big challenge. Similar to last time, I will just look to control them through harvest before I can maybe kill them off this summer. Need to pick up some more pyrethrin soon for a root dunk. A few other plants have shown sex, but have about 3 or 4 that are still unknown.

I am about 2 weeks into flower, so I took the "experimental" JillyBean out and sacrificed her healthy leaves to the ganja gods today. I will probably hit it again in a couple days, don't want to stress it too much at once. I also hit her with some Jack Herer feminized pollen from my last grow that was late in developing. Curious if the pollen is still viable. If it is this will be Feminized "Jack n' Jill"

Damn that stinketh Cas, I've heard root aphids are harder to get rid of than mites. If thats true I don't wanna mess with those guy's.
