It depends where you are located.. In Nor-Cal, we have a large selection of fertz for rock-bottom prices. If you are in Europe, a fert we might suggest could wind up costing you wayyy more than you wish to spend, and we agree..i will do a flush with 7 ph water. and ill look for new nutrients. these numbers are confusing 3-0-3 or 1-0.5-3 etc. in a simple way what should i look for when buying nutes?
all natural no toxic what ales? thanks everyone for taking the time i will hopefully be able to pay forward.
Jay'dawg is hitting every work with 100% accuracy. some really good and down-to-earth advice.
regarding an additive, the soil you use should have 90% of what a plant can use. I have noticed a general rule-of-thumb that I get about 1 ounce per gallon of soil. No nutes are needed, just water. This is what I did in the past.. It really is the fault of a hydro-store guy trying to sell something the soil has already given you.
if you want me to recommend something, try Earth Juice if you can get it cheap and use 1/4 or 1/2 mix. Earth Juice is made a few miles from where I live and I know some of the workers. lol.. but, ya know..
lastly, i would recommend a soil/perlite mix and stay away from all fertilizers. Learn a few crops before you inject fert into fresh soil.
