Economics is a science, which is figuring out that law. It's the same with mathematics. But we've been doing it for so much longer. The problem with economics is what you're measuring changes much more rapidly and many more variables. Society these days with our modern technology changes in a matter of minutes, rather than days or weeks only a few decades ago.

Show me where the reason why the immunization works, and isn't a result of a cleaner society? Killing germs is way more effective than preventing them from harming you. Even though all you Marines got immunized, the military has really high rates of the same diseases you're immunized against. Maybe it's because the military is more concerned with killing and making you clean inefficiently with a tooth brush on your hands and knees the filthy toilet areas?

Again, is that because of the vaccine or the fact we wash our hands religiously, use super power strength cleaners on the floors of hospitals, etc. The downside is the germs mutate, and become resistant to any method of elimination. Why do you think those types of experiments which would prove me wrong aren't done?

Also when we actually find one of those cases, we do a lockdown procedure, cleaning, quarantine, etc. But those who were immunized still get the disease! Holy batman!
