There's always a reason for things. She's not getting drunk for "no" reason. Not sure of the situation, but listen to her problems as we and anyone else on here is for you. Promise it helps! I like to vent. just sometimes need a shoulder not a harsh word. Hugs not shrugs!

Alcohol until you are tipsy or just in laughing mode sometimes i think its good for the old chakra.
Get her to become a stoner, about 90% of stoners ive ever come across dislike hate or only drink alcohol sometimes. I know this because i noticed how much i started disliking alcohol once i started stoning regularly thus wanting to find if its a cannabis reated phenomenon.
Weed also made me give up the dammed bakie too.
If youre wife is seriously stoned on a some nice tasty weed i doubt shed shout at you half as much.

I suggest a camping trip with just the two of you; up around the NE coastal area, where all those nasty snakes and salties are. She can get hammered, start yelling, wander off and you might get lucky. Just a thought
