I thought decarb happens around 220fis that a serious question?
or some sort of Socrates type thing
what is goop
or what is decarboxylation if jeopardy
To be honest, I get the same results too. When I get around 140 I get a crumble/wax. I usually get a goo around ~170-180.Well I blow onto warm pyrex purge most tane off scrape then into everclear inti freezer for 48 hours then back into pyrex on double boil at about 115/130 for a few hours to rid of everclear then scrape....how come when I do 140 I get crumble no goo

It's great for edibles and highly suggested! But for vaping, sadly it does kinda ruin the flavor by removing the terpens. When I do get goo, it really doesn't taste good to vape. It's okay though for edibles because other flavors mask the poopooAnd what are the negatives of oil starting to decarb?

Hey bro how much did you run? A lot of the guys on another board (cant remember what the guys on here said right now) tell me when i do my small runs (i do 7-14g) that after water bath and scrape with heat and vac i should only need a few pulls of a few minutes each..now im wondering about that when you say you've let your vacuum pump run for 40 hours straight? Running the whole time? After about 40 hours in the vacuum purger at room temp this is the final result: http://imgur.com/a/nZhZ6
Well, in an oven with brownies you may not need to increase the temperature because its circulating heat all around, but for purging oil, wouldnt a larger run tend to mean a larger slab even if you spread it as thin as you could and therefore require more purging than a smaller very thin run?my opinion is. why should it matter how much your running? My 60gram runs go like my 10gram runs..if you use a baking pan to make some brownies and you triple the recipe to feed your buddies do you add more pans? Or do you turn it into a cake? if you do that the inside doesnt cook as uniform especially at higher temps yea...might have to alter cooking times and temp etc.. I purge in thin film no matter how big the batch. my purge times are fairly consistent
I do recall that! Which makes me wonder, what am i doing wrong that my product seems to not be fully purged after short periods of time? Is my pump shit? Is my chamber bunk? Do i need to flip more and heat gun the top to make it less hard? Am i not hot water bath purging enough ( i thought i was damnit) - so im just trying to figure out all the variables to make myself a proper medicine.if you notice the people that know what they are doing purge for much shorter periods than most.. graywolf I believe runs less than an hour for example as well
lio lacidem: when i had "shatter" and took a dab it sizzled a lot on my nail, so i thought "hm maybe its not purged properly" - so when i put this "shatter" back into the chamber and added some heat and vacuumed, it reacted, and bubbled. I was not aware there were two kinds of bubbles tho, thank you! How can i tell the difference? My heat is never over 115 and usually is around 105-110. How do i know when my shit is purged of butane then?Ill ask a basic question first goalie.... how do you know your arent fully purged? Are you judging by bubbles? You do know there are 2 types of bubbles, solvent and decarb bubbles right? Ive seen some people say thete shit isnt purging when really they are partially decarbing and thats where the bubbles are coming from.
