Subsidies are okay if the person(s) doing the subsidizing is doing it on a voluntary basis. Other than that, "subsidy" is a euphemism for theft. Now don't you feel bad for taking things that don't belong to you?

It has plenty of substance. The main reason it was posted was because of bundy being called a criminal for not paying his grazing taxes, while the same people that are taking his cattle are the same people trespassing on this other land all while monitoring him instead of the border. They also warned him that if he doesn't lock up his dogs while they are on (His) land they will shoot the dogs.
They mess with his livelyhood by tearing down his fences and attempting to let his cattle get out and cause an accident that he would be responsible for.

i did watch the video, but i didnt see where his claims of harm, or impeding his livelihood are substantiated. i got him claiming the border patrol said shit about his dogs, i got him CLAIMING the border patrol is trespassing and cutting fences, but most of his bitching was about cameras on the border and how the border patrol is impeding his desire to "help each other cross the border"
the border patrol CAN patrol the border, and CAN set up cameras to monitor the border for illegal crossings, but he did not establish any of his assertions, and the presence of the cameras are in no way impeding him from running cattle on his property, since the cameras are not on his property unless he allowed the border patrol to put them there.
if the border patrol had set up cameras on his property without his permission, as he implied (but never stated directly) then what they actually did was give him a bunch of free solar arrays and cameras which he can sell on E-Bay.
his claim that the border patrol is cutting his wire fences was unsubstantiated, and dubious since illegals cut wire, knock down fences and bust locks off gates all over the border region to facilitate their own infiltration of this great land.
if, as i suspect, his property butts up right on the border, and he has gates leading to mexico, then observing his activity as he and others cross the border through his fences is well within the border patrol's scope. the best solution would be for the dept of the interior to condemn a strip of his land, take it with compensation and build a wall there to stop illegal crossings of the border.
but the video itself is long on emotional appeals and short on details, which is what i mean by "zero substance"

I get what you mean, the video isn't very long and I guess it wasn't well thought out when I posted it. I posted it for a specific purpose, but should have known it would be gutted and questioned. That's my bad. You make a lot of valid points that there isn't really any reason in arguing against because as it stands I cannot because the video was so short and didn't give very much insight as to the claims that he was making.
