im interesting in giving a pineapple flavored herb a go which is one flavor i have not yet experienced under my own hands. wonder what everyone thinks is the best pineapple out there. i did a single seed center(site i always use because they seem easiest to deal with as far as payment and shipping process. little on the pricey side) order and got some pineapple chunk from barneys farm. someone locally has been growing some very impressive pineapple express so i wanted to give it a go from seed as i refuse to take clones from other ppl(pest risk). thought i would try the chunk as well. i also seen besides g13 labs, a company called fastbuds makes pineapple express. i thought g13 labs seemed more reputable so i got a couple of their pineapple expresses. just planted a day ago. starting the express soon.

what other companies that make pineapple flavored strains or what other pineapple flavored strains do you enjoy? which would you say have the best taste and which do you think are the highest in potency?

i cant vote until i try both out. gonna have to hold an unfair bias against fastbuds because i never heard of them. dont mean to knock them, maybe they're awesome.

From what I've seen online im one of the very few that has gotten a indica pineapple chunk. Taste and smell were spot on pineapple but week potency wise. Made a cross of chemmy jones to the PC and there all pineappley but the PC weakened the potency there to. Id look into the pineapple pheno of c99 if I was looking for pineapple again.

Pineapple Express was B in flavor and potency [ 2 freebie]

I passed around some c-99 [Female Se-eds] to friends just to watch their amazement. Most said 'pineapple' just smelling the doob. I do my best not to exaggerate or hype - I pimp for no bean company. But that plant reeked of sweet Dole pineapple, and the first hits on a joint is the single best tasting weed I've ever had. It's all gone....could not stay out of the jar. Great daytime high. At week 4 I knew I had to order more, and have one just now hitting 12/12.
Forget the rest would be my advice.

Get Pineapple Diesel from Dynasty seeds instead or just a classic C99. Pineapple Chunk is legendary in it's levels of shittiness. Pineapple Express you might find a decent plant but I doubt it smells like Pineapples. The two I ran ended up smelling kind of like... I don't really know. Shit? They don't really smell good though and definitely do not smell fruity. Smoke is meh. Yields were good. Bag appeal decent.

G13 labs for the pineapple. It's a constant in my garden. I haven't found that it really tastes like pineapple or smells like it. The high is great though, everyone I gave it to has a story about getting too high on it. One or two hit's and I'm good, that will give me a really good feeling for a couple hours.

i can vouch for Cindy99. opened the jar a few days ago after a 7 month cure. taste and smells crazy good with a really uplifting high. love doing stuff when i smoke it. during the grow the aroma was really sweet like pineapple.

PeakseedsBC has a c99 from Frost who obtained his through Joey Weed. I believe Classic SEEDS has a c99 that's open pollination from original bros grim stock. Those are the two sources I'd look at. A lot of people have had luck with female seeds version too. I can't speak to them or where they obtained the original genetics though.

I've seen a few bad reports on Mosca and G13. I wouldn't do Mosca's because he BX'd it and fuck that noise. I want the pure. G13 just seem to be a little bit shady as a company in general.

my pineapple chunk died. i think it was a shitty seed although it is possible i fucked it up somehow. i did it the same way i always do seeds. normally they root in sometimes less than 24 hours. this one took 2-3 days. then it never came above the soil.

did 2 pineapple express seeds and they germinated perfect. next seed order i might get just 1 seed of the chunk again just to see how it is. i know a couple people that grow pineapple express and they have amazing flavor. smell just like pineapple. i wanna see they went with g13 but dont know for sure. i never take clones from people because to me it seems like im the only one without a bug problem. everyone else has mites and shit. i only do clones if i cut them myself and they're grown in a sterile environment.

is the strain c99 supposed to be a pineapple flavor? i never grew it but every time someone gave me it, it smelled like cologne to me. never got a pineapple flavored nug of c99. cinderalla 99 right? or is it a company called c99? i only order from the single seed centre. every time they have been good to me and no confiscations. pricey but i'll pay the extra to get satisfaction every time. no one likes problems.

Ive grown out both pineapple express and pineapple chunk.
As far as pineapple express went for me, pretty decent quality, good yield but average potency

And for pineapple chunk, two words: Fuck That.
Never wasting my space with it again, to be honest.

The original packs offered some variety in flavor with most phenotypes being fruity. The pineapple pheno was quite sought after though as it was very potent and had a lot of good traits. There was also a more spicy/hazy Jack Herer leaning pheno.
