Sounds great! I don't drink though.
I met a guy from the Marine Corp on vacation here one time.

We were staying in a hotel for a Machine Head concert on the other side of the country, so we were chilling in the gardens having a few "beverages" when we got talking to him. So we offered him a drink, obviously, and he said he didn't drink.

That guy partied hard that day, and it wasn't even dark.

We're silver-tongued fuckers, I think the accent helps.

Some people say Irish women are ugly but I like orange nipples.

Oh, make no mistake, I certainly despise this kind of behavior no matter what race is on the giving or receiving end.

I just wanted to see who would try to defend the Obama administration's selective justice by deflecting, I pretty much nailed it.
ABSOLUTELY!!!!

so the 1000+ blacks charged with hate crimes in 2009 alone is somehow evidence of the obama adminstration's "selective justice", or are you just a deluded righty like your here beennowhere?
The Obama administration charged 1000's of blacks of hate crimes in 2009? Or did 100's of racist black men beat the hell out of innocent white people just last year alone. The Obama administration had plenty of chances for a long time now, to make an example. What were they waiting for?

You've yet to show me one hate crime committed by a black man against a white man, who wasn't some other protected class like gay.

Also hate crimes are retarded. The whole reason you do a violent crime is out of hate. "Crackah, Ima beating the shit out of ya, because I've got so much love in my heart it hurts!"

If it is a "hate crime", it is the same charge plus a racial enhancer. Motive determines degree. A violent crime that is committed unprovoked simply because of demographic difference is much different from a violent crime committed because someone provoking it. It indicates a dangerous pattern and the likelihood of repeated incident. Whereas a provoked violent attack, while still a crime might be an isolated incident.

I'll never understand justice being based on skin color in an effort to squash racism.

If you think one family deserves more justice than another based on their skin color, congrats, you are part of the racial problems in this country. This is what has been happening in our country for centuries, so the answer is to double down. I don't understand the logic.

AC, if your mother was shot and killed by a man who wanted her parking spot, should he do less time than a man who killed her because she was female?

If a man shot and killed your mother because he didn't like her lawn, another man shot and killed her neighbor because he was gay, your logic dictates that the neighbor's family deserves more justice. I can't get on board.

Meanwhile shit like this happens all the time and goes almost unnoticed. I suppose this makes me a right wing racist for posting this link. I was there with my family btw, and i did have my pistol on me. Thank god i wasn't forced to use it.

I'll admit that this is the first I have ever heard of the event. I can't imagine that Wisconsin is a place where people can pull themselves up by the bootstraps. The 1991 Los Angeles riot was also racially motivated but it doesn't make one a right wing racist to share a link. I'm glad you didn't shoot anyone also.

Would you care to explore the possibility that there is a persistent problem of black youth feeling as though society offers no legitimate opportunities to make their lives better? In LA there was a pattern of gentrification that pushed black people into certain areas and institutional racism kept a barrier around this demographic. Police routinely abused the so called civil rights of blacks and it is now obvious in hindsight that cocaine was allowed to flood the streets while the law clearly discriminated between the freebase and rock forms and the powder form which was perceived as more classy.

I'm not trying to absolve individual criminals but it is good to look at the bigger picture.

I'm not defending it.

I'm explaining the rationale, but thanks for trying to appeal to my emotions.

OK, so you agree with me that hate crimes are actually harmful?

Or are you for them?

And emotion is exactly why we have hate crimes carrying "more justice", not logic.

Still a non-answer. It's always been that way. That's why we have degree ratings for pre-meditation.

Are you for hate crimes?
It was actually a perfectly good answer. Your attempt to goad me into a rhetorical question will fail, just like it always does.

Can you please not be so childish if you want me to take you seriously? I already told you, I'm not defending it, I'm explicating it.

I'll put it this way, if you think a black guy should do more time for killing your mother for being white than a white guy who killed her because it was a boring teusday or any other myriad of reasons that don't involve skin, sex or religion. Can you explain how this helps an equal justice system?

And all I asked was are you for or against them. I see you don't know what rhetorical means. Do you claim that you actually answered this?

edit: you don't have to answer it if it makes you uncomfortable, you will get called racist by the simpletons for not agreeing. You can't however, claim you answered it and be honest at the same time.
