Hey, I appreciate the points for plastic, there are merits and downsides to both and we are going to be exhausting the debate before we ship, you have opened our minds to glass not being the best.Hi,
It's a bonus for whoever is not paying for the shipping of them I think. Yeah Mason jars do have a mark up already. One assumes that an LP would not be buying them regularly in the store however. Why wouldn't they be "approvable"? I imagine it just takes a child resistant gimmick? You know, for the sake of argument. So order some custom with a left handed thread. That will be perfect. Children will have no problem opening them because they don't know what convention is and will simply test it both ways, while adults will be bashing the jars open with hammers. In other words, equally confounding and futile as with any child resistant methods. But it's funny that that's what's required while "standard conventions" like UV protection..... *shrug*
Short of tint, which is probably easiest and more effective if you go the glass route, consider a heat formed label of protectant material, or in the very least wrap the paper all around the jar..which might it a concentrator if it's nicely reflective.. I'm not sure. Won't make for as nice a picture though either.
Honestly I wouldn't beat your brow too much over the perceived requirement of glass. It's a carry over of connoisseur snobbishness and pseudo experts that are more often full of it while 99% of the time people get it in a sandwich bag that doesn't even seal. Test their theories and you'll quickly find out how full of it they really are. That's just a trap and for the sake of it you'll be spending more in shipping and those broken during it.
Bags are "wide mouth", more so than jars, air can be squeezed out, fit in your pocket already, and since you can actually get your hand in it or cut it open it's easier to get the trichomes out that are stuck to the side than you can with a jar, while they pretend that never happens with them. And just think, storing crates of jars at your facility versus a box of flattened bags.. Hell, just the reduction in noise while handling them would be worth it alone.
What did you think of the "nitrogen" thread where we discussed things like MRE bags with oxygen scavengers? If you threw in a custom mini Boveda pack as well, just enough to last a week or two, people wouldn't really be able to complain. Well, most people, but I'd find a way.
Google... free email services are generally frowned upon. I'd think you'd want one in your own domain. It's hard to say because email is notoriously not private, but Google have designs for private information. That's also why avoid cloud services and social media like facebook, which LP's don't belong on at all.
A genuine presence on a forum like this that's not just shilling and involves real participation is something I can respect far more. An actual meaningful rapport. But as you probably know that takes work and most are allergic to it when bs'ing is so much easier.
I'd really look into why your site wasn't loading so well too, before you start getting more traffic.
Cheers.
PS: About the pictures on your site.... Hitler also loved dogs. Just sayin.

I tend to consider all angles. No offense intended....Do we give off a nazi vibe or do you tend to resolve things to such extremes often?

They save the good stuff for the export market.http://fus.in/1tpSX1c
After watching this video I'm left wondering how I got sent what looks like lawn clippings...it actually appeared like there was some alright pot being grown. WTF ? And if that interview took place on April 17 where's all the weed at ?...didn't the grower mention they had been harvesting every week for some time.
Wouldn't surprise me at allThey save the good stuff for the export market.
