The police chief is right when he said the police can't protect people, that is true nation wide. I do not agree with concieled weapons permits, a person should have those rights without needing the governments blessing. I do think we need to enforce background checks better than what is currently done.

Crime will not be solved with concealed carry, harsher punishment, or special task forces. Crime is not based on race or political ideology, it is environment driven. Always has been, and probably always will be.
