Okay here it goes:
First off you obviously overwatered. Every pic you have your plant is soaked.let your plant dry out every once in awhile to allow the roots to breathe.
Secondly, you have either over or more likely under fertilized. With all that water yourpumping into that pot your flushing any nutrients the plant has outbecause you have no nutrients, in the soil, and the plant itself.
As for the topping concern that has little to do with it. I topped my plants early for space and they still grew like crazy.
You didn't top it wrong your supposed to have two colas after topping and one empty node in the middle. If you were to fim (please read up on it) you would have those two side colas plus two new shoots beggiining to grow in the middle node as well.
So here's what you do (seriously stop overworrying over nothing): let your plant dry out after waterings for a day or two. Then water when soil is dry on top and on the inside. In a week after she's perked up add liquid fertilizer of your choice (nitrogen dominent) and only use half doseevery watering then when she colours up only fert with full strength every other week.
Finally transplant that. Poor girl into p
