sorry for my neuro-shenanigans :)
NBD, happens to me. :)

The REAL is the election we have every two years.

If the Congress changes hands, especially the Senate, that is the NC vote for real.

Nothing else matters. If the Senate holds we get 2 more years of Confidence.

This makes you think the idea has teeth? I would stop reading this kind of senseless yammering if I were you. I don't read opinions. I find facts and make my own.

This is as silly as saying the President has the pen stroke power to legalize pot.

It is all made up by people that do not understand the laws here or are goofing us.

A vote of no-confidence is a Parliamentary procedure with teeth. It is just a mumble-peg in this system.

It is the same as some Law makers writing to the President and goading him about the Pot, Just making up a power that does not exist,

It is not real.
+rep

this is why they fear those who are educated.

Get this one!

I stated wondering, if in fact, the Congress can make Law that actually binds a Popular President, to prior reporting or even prior permission to do anything in the military way.

Absolutely NOT. In fact, I would say there is nothing Constitutional, under Article 2, about requiring a pre-notice of any action taken by a US President on foreign soil and most certainly not in a Battle Theater.

This is the same btw, as "requiring the President" to alert the Anti-Terror Task Force.

It is the same for opening and the same for closing military detention for Battle Field detainees not in the USA.

So, see how this works? No Teeth in these claims. Both sides play fast and loose with REAL for votes.

But, this is our Self Rule. The President only has to be popular.

The president can send the entire Marine Corps off to do battle without a single permission from anyone or any congress. Hence why Marines are called "The President's own". They use this power all the time.

Let me introduce you to Sgt. Bergdahl. From an email he sent his parents three days before his capture, as reported by Rolling Stone:

The future is too good to waste on lies. And life is way too short to care for the damnation of others, as well as to spend it helping fools with their ideas that are wrong. I have seen their ideas and I am ashamed to even be american. The horror of the self-righteous arrogance that they thrive in. It is all revolting . . .

In the US army you are cut down for being honest . . . but if you are a conceited brown nosing shit bag you will be allowed to do what ever you want, and you will be handed your higher rank . . . The system is wrong. I am ashamed to be an american. And the title of US soldier is just the lie of fools . . . I am sorry for everything here. These people need help, yet what they get is the most conceited country in the world telling them that they are nothing and that they are stupid, that they have no idea how to live. We don’t even care when we hear each other talk about running their children down in the dirt streets with our armored trucks.

lovely..

BB was also in the US coast guard for one month and discharged because of psych.

the US army should be ashamed of itself for recruiting someone with a medical disability.

actually, if BB plays his cards right..i'm thinking of lawsuit against the US army.

fuckers:finger:

Always blame the other guy. NEVER take responsibility for your own actions. NEVER.

His mind is shattered. This is the only explanation besides him being a complete dolt and actually believing what was written.

In really hope some intensive therapy gets him better.

Lots of questions need answering, eventually.

what part of "BB is a mental patient" that you don't understand?

So because of that he can't be held accountable? And it is only your opinion that he is a "mental patient". Unless you have a link to his diagnosis.

What part of accountability don't you understand?

Citation needed for BB's past incarceration in a mental institution.
seriously? you can't google?

Lt. Col. Elaine Conway confirmed to CBS News correspondent Margaret Brennan that the Army knew that Bergdahl had been "administratively discharged" from the Coast Guard. When asked whether this was known at the time of his enlistment and whether he was given a waiver, an Army spokesperson said they were "looking into it" and could not comment on the grounds for the discharge.

The U.S. Coast Guard's Lisa Novak confirmed that Bergdahl went to boot camp but was dismissed 26 days later on an "uncharacterized discharge," which means that he didn't serve long enough to have his performance judged or characterized.

The reasons for the dismissal are still unclear.

Failure to adapt I suspect.

The term 'failure to adapt' is a catch all, it describes a large range of issues or problems that are not compatible with military living. Not showing up on time, won't take orders, hate sleeping in a room with 74 other dudes.

Maybe a dude doesn't move fast enough and after a few corrections he still does not follow orders, if he does it again and again, failure to adapt and boot him.

Most people who drop from basic training are listed under a 'failure to adapt' status for their discharge.

Failure to adapt is used only during the first 6 months of a service members time in service. After that they are not given the opportunity to be discharged easily, it becomes a punitive action after that time.

which is EXACTLY what went down..why the heck did he go into the army after that? did he think it was going to be any different?

if he wanted to be of use to the afghan people he should have joined the peace corps.
