Anyone grown autoflowers outside???

I never fed mine last year amd had more than I could handle. Im sure they would do better but I didnt see any sign of needing food until late. And all i saw was a need for Nitrogen. I feel like this could be solved w a topping of EWC and not need to do anything else. This is my plan for the year.

Oh ok cool. Where did you buy it from i was think about ordering it since garden places in town seem to a bit pricey but I guess it pays off since u dont have to pay or wait for shipping

I ended up getting ocean forest soil. Southside garden said itll be fine for tomatoes and peppers just dont feed them for a while till they start showing signs of needing food but they might not even need any. And ive read that OF works good for mj too just dont feed it anything for a month or so

My autos are running like crazy because I cant keep them in the sun since we cant seem to keep any around. I will repot and show you guys those later today!

I tried germinating and for some reason it cracked but never got a long enough taproot to plant so I gave up on it I'll start some for a indoor grow later this summer. Yea you can clone no problem for fem'd seeds (you can't clone for ruderalis otherwise known as Autoflowers)

Theres a guy on here Woodsmantoker who has developed some Alaska strains. Im in the process of trying to get some from him. Hes in michigan right now on the mend.

You could build a small cold frame out of pvc and visqueen for cheap to put your girls in when it rains. I feel like they get good light outside even when it is raining

Yeah I was you tubing some videos on those I'm thinking I might make one so I can leave it outside all the time so it can get all this light we're getting. I hope it t gets sunny again. Yeah there's still a lot of light out when it's cloudy too not as much as when it's clear out but still light better than none at all. So question what do you guys grow your indoor plants in and what kinda light are they under??

Organic Autos in Alaskan Supersoil eh? I got one for you...
This is a Sensi Seeds Skunk #1 Auto fem freebie I scored in an Attitude promo, harvested 2 weeks ago, grown in a greenhouse, LST'd, in supersoil, in a 3-gallon smartpot.


I chopped her at 110 days, under a lighting schedule that only an auto could love. Her first 2 months under a 12-12 600w HPS, then moved outside early May to finish mid-June under what became 20 hrs of AK sunshine! Weird if you're a photo grower for sure but WTF, here in AK we do what we can right!?

She was ready but could have gone longer, maybe even 120 days, but you can't do this with a photo, outside, in AK.

Besides she's heavy and sticky and pretty good smoke- I'd say GREAT for an auto! Although very subtle odor and flavor, which scores low for me but would be good for the stealth grower. So she's not my headstash but looks good in a bag and is stoney.

I pulled 5 well-trimmed ounces off her, and even chopped off her main stem early on, cloned it, sprayed it with colloidal silver, got nanners and was able to pollinate 3 other autos with her! My first time ever so Ha!

Anyway, I post this just to show that even without a complex setup, we who have the midnight sun can easily pop a few seeds, get them started under a CFL in April and put them in a South window or ideally in a greenhouse in May to finish under our awesome sun, with very low investment.
