Ok..is bloodmeal, nitrogen rich bat guano 11-4-1, and Schultz Plant Food Plus 10-15-10 good enough to feed my plants during the vegging stage??I always hear all this lot about using fancy ol' nutrients and additives that cost like $30 for a bottle..just to veg!!
I mean think about it,vegging plants dont need as much care or nutrients as a plant in bloom...just a nitrogen rich nutrient source...with all the micro and macro nutrients right??!So I have what I think is a very simple and extremely cheap nutrient source for vegging plants...what ya guys think?
1.Bloodmeal: Very cheap and readily found in any Home Depot....12-0-0..high nitrogen count makes it rather hot,so use carefully or risk burning plants..I got a 2 liter soda bottle, washed it out good..and filled with tap water that sat for a couple days.I mixed the water with 3 tablespoons of bloodmeal, then left it out..the longer you leave the bottle to "sit",the more nitrogen will be in the end product.Shake the bottle very well every day!!
Now after a week or two, strain all the solids out of the bottle, and this will leave you with a yellowish water, with highly concentrated nitrogen..when you want to use, simply dilute with water in a seperate bottle, and use..never out of the original bottle!!This will burn your plants man!!
2.Bat Guano: Get this online for very cheap..it has a high nitrogen count, but is safer than bloodmeal..plus it has alot of micro nutrients in it..And its 100% organic.Mine has 11-4-1..and I just make into a tea..always concentrated so I can dilute with water accordingly...for example if its a young plant, dilute with alot of water in a seperate bottle..etc.
3.Shultz Plant Food Plus: A very cheap fertilizer that can be found in ANY walgreens...its only $2.99 for a super concemtrated mix..follow instructions on bottle to use..but make it stroger so you can dilute with water. It is 10-15-10,and has macro nutrients like zinc!
Remember the idea is to make super concentrated teas, and store them in soda bottles..then just dilute with tap water left sitting out.Any questions or comments..are these fertilziers good enough to veg cannabis plants as good as those expensive ones
