Most of my posts side with myself. I don't need compadres to hold my opinion, I unapologetically march to my own drum. Who my opinions line up with is inconsequential to me. Some days on some issues, I align with folk who are usually my adversaries. Shit happens.

Immigration is VERY cut and dry to me and the solution is as well. And no, it doesn't involve direct force, just the rule of law exercised in an unflinching manner.

Why deal with finding and deporting illegals, when you can make this country impossible to live in as an illegal? I know the libs mock self-deportation, but the examples you provide are comical, so of course THOSE methods would fail. If you can't earn a buck, can't get any social services and can't even feed yourself, you'll move to where you can. And the influx would screech to a grinding halt. To think otherwise is absurd.

The problem is that our federal government is allowing illegal immigrants to cross the border - Illegally...

The other problem is that our federal government has a miserable record of tracking and deporting illegals that overstay their visa's. So, I guess your argument is that since our federal government either chooses to not enforce the law or they are totally incompetent it means that somehow the illegal immigrants have a right to be here???

There are simple ways to fix these problems but neither political party has the will to get it done.

Seasonal workers would harvest the crops.

If a company needed seasonal workers they would put a request in with the government and those people could get temporary worker permits to come across and pick crops or whatever other temp work was needed.
