- Is it allowed to trim roots?
- How is the winner determined? Yield? Votes based on best pics?

This is a good point and I've been considering it for the last few days. I'm pretty sure I've made my decision, four of the seeds I enter into our friendly little contest will be a cross of my own, Anesthesia x Cerberus. I'm pretty confident that if any of them are female, and lean towards mom's side, I'll be garnering some votes. If fate should not be that kind, and they all come up balls out, that's why my fifth, and final seed will feminized. There's always a plan "B" ;) That honor will go to TH Seeds Akorn (aka Snowbud). I received it as a freebie awhile back, and quite frankly it's the only fem I have in my arsenal, at the moment, so she'll have to do. Anybody else know what they are going to run yet?

trimming roots is acceptable in fact no roots are allowed to grow outside the cup.

Winner is voted on by their peers (other contestants and sponsors) on overall bag appeal. Last comp we had a montage of 5 photos at the end before voting on the winner.

Excellent, thanks for the answers.

Biggest obstacle for me at the moment is finding US-size party cups, those thing are quite a bit larger than I expected. 455ml... that'll do.

don't sell yourself short, 16 oz is 473 ml.... I don't want to hear whinning over how it was unfair because everyone else had 18 more ml in their cup

Personally, I think SAE measurements are silly. The metric system makes way more sense..... Too bad @Sativied has to spend so much money to get 'em though! I'd send a pack if I knew where it was going!

In Yankee land, those damn cups are about $5 for a thousand... $15 for 2 dozen seems like a rip off
