Man, you guys are really getting out there on the Tea argument.
Tea doesn't work? WTF?
"My roots are growing so fast, the brown can't keep up with it"
Umm. Brown roots don't mean Root Rot, or Slime.
If your roots are sloughing off, then THAT'S root rot. If you have ROT, you WON'T grow new roots.
Who the hell doesn't clean, and sterilize their system between grows?
"I keep getting root rot so the tea doesn't work" WTF?
If you keep getting Root Rot, figure out WHY you are getting root rot, if it even IS root rot.
Dark roots can be VERY healthy roots. When you are running compost in your teas, your roots WILL turn dark.
If you are running things like Floralicious+ in your teas your roots will turn dark.
If you're running a lot of humic/fulvics, your roots can turn dark.
OH MY GOD! MY ROOTS AREN'T SHOCK WHITE! WHAT EVER WILL I DO?
Yes, that was a half pound AUTOFLOWERING plant.
If they are not sloughing off and they are growing they are healthy.
If the tips are white, they are healthy OR AT LEAST on the mend.
I've seen it before after a pythium infection where the new growth tips of roots would grow healthy and pearly white right away while the trunk root stayed looking iffy for a few days.
If all of your environmental factors were correct, you wouldn't have to worry about root rot in the first place.
Hiesenberg Tea isn't an absolute cure for shitty environments, and growing practices.
ALTHOUGH, I have run reservoir temperatures in the 80's and still pulled off crops which would NEVER have been possible without the TEA.
If your Res temp is good, You have plenty of Disolved Oxygen, and your running Hiesenberg Tea...
YOU WILL NOT GET ROOT ROT OR SLIME.
IF YOU DO HAVE ROOT ROT OR SLIME, YOU FIX YOUR RES TEMPS, HAVE PLENTY OF OXYGEN, AND RUN HIESENBERG TEA THERE IS NOTHING THAT WILL WORK BETTER TO CURE IT... Nothing.
This is NOT my opinion. This shit has been proven OVER and OVER.
Zone, bleach, h202, Enzyme Products and all that other shit FEEDS slime.
So... Tell me again how you beat cyanobacteria (The Slime) with DM Zone, bleach, h202 or enzymes....... You NEVER DID. You thought you did, then it came back. You spent hundreds of dollars on products going back, and forth fighting the shit before you plants finally died or it showed right back up in your next grow.
Anyone claiming Hiesenberg Tea doesn't work is Either-
1-Not making it right
2-Not using it right (you CAN use too much tea. Too much will leave a biofilm that other shit can live off Hence the importance of #5
3-Using other things along with it (Zone, H2O2, Enzymes, Carbs products)
4-Neglecting to keep their reservoir temperatures in check.
5-Not cleaning out their system periodically (At LEAST every other week if you have active pathogens)
6-Not sterilizing and cleaning their system between runs
7-Not running enough oxygen into their solution
Root Rot is a SYMPTOM that something is wrong with your growing practices.
Root Rot doesn't happen to perfectly dialed in system with Active Beneficials running in it.
I run Tea now from Start To Finish.
You can use all the Roots Excelurator and hormones you want, but proper use of Tea will give you better roots any day PERIOD.
Hormones won't keep you from getting slime, or Root Rot either.
Anyone knocking Hiesenberg Tea looses ALL credibility in my eyes and the eyes of those who know how to grow and actually use it.
It's like standing on a soap box trying to convince an audience of Meteorologists that the sky is green. People who don't know better might listen to you for a while until someone more educated comes along. The rest of the Meteorologists are looking at you like WTF?
That's my .02
Peace.
