got some very nice smoke from 1 of those male hermies
the quantity was very small, still, it was a small bonus of a sort

Yeah me to man I just kept the buds and tried to pull of as many balls as I could through flowering. Still got a shit load of seeds though haha As you said, not overly potent but some algood smoke
Male to female plants don't make fem though right? Ive heard hey have a high female to male count tough but Idk well see. Ive got 4 plants, one male and one female and potentially another female so well see what they do.

i don't think they do, but i have seen that high female ratio mentioned
DJ Short has some posts on the fertile male hermie, i.e. it can actually bear seeds
he called it a one a million, i'll accept that's it rare
anyways, that male pollen would supposedly produce very good offspring with a high female ratio

Ah cool! It would have been nice to have taken some pollen.

Heres were I found out it was a male



Then a week or two latter



And by harvest He/she was decent


So many seeds haha And this isn't all of them. Ill let you know what my male to female ratio is once my 4 plants show sex properly. Sorry for taking up so much room

i think most growers would categorize your plant as a regular hermie
the male blooms appeared a little earlier than usual, but was primarily female
but where do you draw the line on this? gets awfully fuzzy
but nice looking plant, and it's nice to have free seeds

Yea for sure however before when it showed sex it showed full male pre flowers weeks before flowering male for a few weeks then female so im not so sure.
You cant see any male flowers in the second pic because I cut them all of

I will indeed post the results of how the plants go and the sex and whether they've inherited Hermie genes.

and the start of flower, 1st day in
compact and LST should keep it that way

8 days of flower
not a bad LST so far
but need to see some flowers
starved for some fat buds

looking good at the moment

3 week flower, mostly good stuff
looking good up top, fast budder
but lost some color in lower fans
too early for that at 3 weeks, usually
maybe early ripener?
fed her more nitrogen in a tea

4 weeks flower, interesting smell
untouched very low, a no smell pheno
but rubbed, a strong perfume
nearly dead on with the parent
about a dozen grows to find that pheno

5 weeks of the 12/12
this looks like a very early finisher
maybe 8-9 weeks
or so it looks now

7 weeks has crept on me
better result than the last one, which sucked
this one is packing it on
could be finished in 8? trich inspection time

Look a little burnt bro? Anyway yeah check those trichs out! Out of the 4 male to female hermie seeds one was a male and three were female. I pulled the male and two of the females because two were total runts and looked awful but ive still got one very nice female. Shes showing no male parts or anything yet just pistils.

^ interesting indeed, nothing wrong with that free seed
and the mutant looking ones, i have had my own bad performers from S1's
i think recessive traits are a bigger hazard than the intersex trait
burnt looking? could be a little, fed heavier than usual
but looks more like fans that have been drained of their nutes
buds are looking good, the leaves can die, just leave me the buds

8 weeks and overdue for update
solid bud with the fan leaves dying off
not as mature as i thought
mostly clear trichomes

9 weeks, was sure this would be the cut
but a big load of clear trichs
except for a few clear orange trichomes
can't say i saw any cloudies
had a northern lights that was like this
no cloudy trichomes
they would slowly turn a golden yellow color
