ISK, how big did the plants end up and what was the avg. weight per plant. Have seen pics of bottle grown and some have looked outstanding
You do it as a SOG? To me that would seem to be the most productivel

nope...I have never done a SOG

I have used 2L pop bottles with my "My Mexican Ditch Weed" ...and my "2013 indoor sunshine grow" , and a previous grow...they were not giants but produced decent yields

Yeah man....2 liters, I may buy 120 Dinafem blue kush seeds and run a sog..........using 2liter bottles

Yeah too me I think If you want a quick turn around and little veg time if any sog is the way to go. But you would need several mothers........suggest you take 6-8" clones rooted clones and go straight to 12/12. In about 2 months I'm going to run a sog again with reserva Prada tangie hempy style. Just got to finish up my super lemon haze grow.

I did something similar in a perpetual... three racks with eight bottles per rack. I cycled one rack every three weeks. I picked mine up from the side of a convenience store.

Makes things hugely portable.

And there was that grower in the beginning of this thread who ran a couple of tubs (48 ) per light, of clone straight into 12/12 in 2L reaping 14 to 15 gm/plant. GDP was the strain of choice for the sog

Day 30 from germ in Root Riots 7/14, day 25 from putting the sprouted beans in Solo cup Hempy's 7/19, and day 13 from transplanting from Solo cups to 2 gallon Coir/Perlite Hempy's 7/31. Growth has slowed some but the roots are beginning to reach the resivoir so I expect rapid grow to pick up soon.
The plants spend the daylight hours outside and the nights in the cabinet.
Here are a few pics from yesterday.

Clockwise from the 12 o'clock postions are CC/BBGA 1 through 5 with the White Widow in the middle.

How many weeks before the plants start showing first signs of sex?

Me personally I see signs of sex within the 1-2 weeks of flower. Are you going to grow them indoors because if so be careful of bringing in pests inside since you do let them out outside during the day? Btw what medium are you using?

I am growing in 2 gallon Hempy buckets of 50/50 coir to course perlite and it has a 1.5" cape of 50/50 coir and a good finished compost to keep the perlite in place and help hold moisture in the upper root zone for better rooting of the plants.
I am using the Lucas method for drain to waste and GH Maxibloom nutes. I have been adding additional Cal/Mag @ 1 tsp per gallon, Rapid Root @.5 tsp per gallon an humic acid at .5 tsp per gallon.
At present I am draining the reservoir every three days and replacing the nutes. Have been backing off the draining as the roots begin to reach the reservoir.
They are being inspected each night when I bring them in for any hitch hikers that may want to come in.

First very nice grow, and I like your medium mix.
As SR stated earlier, if you go to 12/12 it takes me 10 to 14 days to see sex. If I let them just grow out naturally outdoors they will show sex sometime between the 6th and 8th nodes. (hard core sativa's excluded).

Not sure why you're bringing in at night,,, adding more hrs of light?? or is it cold in your locale. If temps aren't the issue then I would leave them outside for the veg. They will start to flower naturally in 4 to 5 wks.

I love the outdoor light, but I am going to be mainlining the plants so I want to keep them in hard veg., also, my neighbor is a state trooper, LOL
Out of the 6 plants I would like to get 3 or 4 females, my cabinet is really only big enough for three max, unless I grow with another technique but want to give this method another try.
So I guess my question is should I try to force sex by switching to 12/12 then reverting or just keep a good eye on them and watch for the first signs of sex.
As you can tell they are very Indica, so height will not be a problem. I am concerned with the WW, it just seems weak, sitting there, may be that I am comparing it to the CC/BBGA that is growing leaps and bounds.

@ GR I guess it really depends upon how long you plan on vegging. If you need to start flower within the next 2 - 3 wks due to height restrictions in the cab then I'd veg em' all a sort out the males after the flip. But if you plan on vegging for a while or do a bunch of training or using a screen, then I'd force the sex issue, and then go back into veg. nugbuckets the main lining guru does this all the time so he doesn't waste time training a male.

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!! all my outdoors are now flowering. I ran my dark chamber for almost 2wks, the Sour Diesel (on right) started flowering after 4 days, the Jackie-O took over a wk more. I bumped up the feeding and burnt the tips on the SD, the J-O looks like it could take more, another reason to not put 2 different strains in one bucket. I backed off to follow the Diesel. The auto/sativa crosses are starting to pack now, I nute burnt the tips a bit here also.

I am only 31 days for germination, if I go to 12/12 will they show sex or do I need to wait till the 6 week and the are mature enough to show sex. This is all new to me.

Had to create a separate post for the indoors, site wouldn't let me post more than 11 photos. Maybe its a MB per post issue.

Indoors C-99 & Lemon Kush clones. Photos from yesterday C-99 on left, with the runt up front, which has pissed me off because it's such a mini. I know that great things come from runts, but why use any more resources on a plant that might put out 1/2oz. I threw it out tonight, and trimmed up the Lemon's. Last photo is the seedlings for the next grow another home cross of my 2 favorite sativa strains. Maui-Wowie X Bay 11, I have hi hopes for these.
