Gas transfer can't be completed with closed stomata, a % of moisture is needed to function properly. We don't know the exact % with ganja as it hasn't been studied. But over 40% is a good assumption. If using boveda for example that keeps it moist, often people forget they still have to burp to complete gas transfer. Starches And chlorophyll etc is broken down here. The more moisture the faster it cures. Mold of any type typically can't survive under 60% humidity my temp n humidity n drying room is kool its just outside rh high but I feel what u saying I hope my taste come back I started cure on the 9/3/2014
With the time frame you gave I would expect them to still be wet on the inside, may need to up rh and or lower temps of your drying area. Your likely to get a breaking down fermenting smell if you leave it in the jar a couple days. This it breaking down without airflow or anaerobically, not good[/QUOTE]
