Of building a financial empire off the backs of exploited labor in order to buy American politicians and influence elections in order to lower upper class taxes?Jelly much?
No, not really

The average employee owns zero stock. One share would be an infinite number times more.Pew Research sez average CEO pay in American companies ranges from 251 to 354 TIMES the average line workers salary. The only way that's appropriate is if they own 350 times as much stock and they're doing their job- which is making the stock go up.
"exploited labor", "buy .... politicians". and "influence elections"??? Yeah, inordinately jelly.Of building a financial empire off the backs of exploited labor in order to buy American politicians and influence elections in order to lower upper class taxes?
No, not really
We have your generation to thank for it, so I suppose it makes sense why you wouldn't take any responsibility for it"exploited labor", "buy .... politicians". and "influence elections"??? Yeah, inordinately jelly.
So would you still disagree with high CEO pay if donations were removed from the political landscape? We have your generation to thank for it, so I suppose it makes sense why you wouldn't take any responsibility for it
What generation is that, Mr. Leaps to Stupid Assumptions? If what you said was true, I'd be 10,000 years oldWe have your generation to thank for it, so I suppose it makes sense why you wouldn't take any responsibility for it

Meanwhile inflation happens and the cost of living risesA persons payment should be whatever two parties can agree to absent any duress.
In a true free market the pay for every individual will be the intersection of supply and demand for that persons particular skill set.
That is all.
My point is it is not the business of a third party to tell two other parties how they will interact.Meanwhile inflation happens and the cost of living rises
You can't change the entire system overnightMy point is it is not the business of a third party to tell two other parties how they will interact.
Inflation is not caused by people acting in consensual ways in their dealings.
It is caused by other things. Understanding what those things are will help to end them.
Cost of living increases, housing costs in particular is caused by regulation and suppression of a truly free market.
maybe you guys will stop hating him due to his skin color now that he's part of the upper crust.Eric Holders new job pays 77 million plus bonus's. That makes him a 1%. and he gets to hang out with the fat cats at the bank.

Buck..maybe you guys will stop hating him due to his skin color now that he's part of the upper crust.
probably not though.
You can't change the entire system overnight
You probably couldn't change the entire system in my lifetime
I believe raising wages and getting more money into the hands of the people that actually need/spend it and reversing the shift of wealth towards the upper class is a good way of relieving some of the pressures those people face.
Businesses won't do it on their own, as both sides agree the bottom line is a business' main priority. So unless something happens, nothing will change. The rules of the game were purposefully skewed in favor of the upper class, there's no reason the lower and middle class shouldn't use those same tools to change the rules back. Enacting a constitutional amendment would do that.
If you say that these rich guys influence elections what you are saying is that the average politician can be *bought*. Yet, you want to place more burdens on the private citizen rather than address the issue of corruption. We have your generation to thank for it, so I suppose it makes sense why you wouldn't take any responsibility for it
I wouldn't take my CEO's job for 10X what he makes. He doesn't make crazy money though. Around 450K before bonuses.Want to make as much as a CEO? Become a CEO.
