Let's destroy that bridge while we still can, this side of a nuclear exchange.. And if it turns out to be a bridge that couldn't have supported their threats, then so what? They made the threats, so they can't complain if we take those threats seriously. And we should.

They have an idiot leader, a nuclear program, a rocket program, and plenty of direct threats of a first-strike against the US. If we don't take that seriously, then we deserve what we get.

Because it will result in a lot of Americans dead. It's just not worth it after all these years of war. Oh, and a lot of other people would die too.

Scorched earth and moving most large industry east into the Urals were the two policies that saved Russia and allowed their massive counter offensive eventually into Berlin.

You guys give yourselves too much credit, if the Japs weren't cheeky fuckers and bombed Pearl Harbour you idiots would've still been sitting on your hands.

Russia only had that opportunity due to Hitler's stupid decision to fight a 2-front war. With less than half of Germany's dedication, Germany pushed the Russians to their breaking point until: winter arrived. Hitler's stupidity (arrogance) and the lucky arrival of winter at just the right time saved Russia from an EASY defeat by only half the German war machine. If that much.

Russia couldn't even arm every soldier with a fucking rifle. They didn't have enough rifles to properly arm every soldier. The only thing they had that saved their asses was warm winter clothes.

We could have and should have invaded Russia as soon as Germany gave up the ghost in 1944. Russia would have fallen like every fighter did to Mike Tyson in his prime: in the first round.

Can you imagine what a better world we'd have if there was no Cold War? No Korean war? No Viet-Nam conflict? No Cuban Missile Crisis? Blame Russia for all that - and blame every idiot who opposed General Patton's desire to invade Russia in 1944.

The USA is the best thing that ever happened to Europe - twice over. Without us, today they'd all be forced to say "Heil Hitler" instead of saluting their flag.
