Jonny in distress is not using full organics. so why are u talking about organics. He wants to know why his product burns like shit. Not why u guys grow organic. U people are worse than a bunch of women gossiping. holy shit.

Fuck nutrients, I do not believe they have anything to do with black ass, I mean black ash. Drying is everything, and unless you can figure out how to bring the humidity level down to 50%, be prepared for a LONG time to dry, more like 3 weeks before you can even think about jarring it. I have shit drying now, 2.5 weeks in open containers, stirred twice a day, and it feels as wet as it did last week with an average 65% humidity. That is why I never grow in the summer, between insects and humidity, it really is not worth it unless you have to ( I grow for a living so I can't stop). Put it in your attic, if you have one, as I am going to have to do today, as I am running out of weed and have giving up on the weather to change the humidity level. The only way to get good smoke is dry time and cure, so expect a month after cut. A couple of ways to forget about the shit ash is to vape, bong, or pipe. Forget joints. Peace

A little trick I do to help start the breakdown happen faster, Learned from riddleme.
When ready to cut plant, Pour boiling hot water over roots, wait 3 days. chop and dry as normal. Try it, you will probably end up doing it every time after that.

nope, not at all, it actually starts the sugars to start to breakdown, there is a word for it, similar to fermenting. After the bud is fully dry, it smokes and tastes great,no curing.

I could not agree more with that statement Jim. This was my first time growing in the summer and what a fucking unholy nightmare that was between battling high humidity at peak flower and high temps from the heat of the summer made a simple happy grow not so simple and happy. I will not be growing in the summer again unless I'm in a dire (i.e. dry) situation :)

I'm certain at this point my buds were simply not dry which caused the poor burn. Now that I let the buds dry out for 3 days extra, it burns even and smokes smooth. Problem solved :)

I was just trying to help, what I do know is When and if u flush, should only be done last week or two before harvest or when trichs are at ur preference. when u flush it dosnt matter if It kills micro bacteria in soil because by the time u do flush most of the plants growing is finished. all ur waiting for is for the bud to ripen (trichones to turn just how u like them.Somtimes it takes plant up to 3,4 weeks to ripen, plants have enough of organic or synthetic nutes in the tissue to fatten up or thiken up resin till harvest. My weed taste good wet or dry, yeh it taste better the dryier or more cured it is ,but I take care of the taste and smell issue before I harvest through good flushing toilets. and letting the plants clean all the crap out of them . (organic or synthic) how ever u like to grow.I myself like organic better,but I get more bugs in dirt and nats when groing organic. so I use synthetic.works out best for. that way I know exactly what im giving my plants.Also ur right,u don't have to flush organic, but u do have to if half organic or use organics that say there organic but for some reason they half salts in them. Advance is good forthat.happy growing. hope everybody the best. Pease.
