Sure, constants should be the same.. it will be different this grow, I'll be rotating them in a perpetual SOG, so this should give me a chance to test many samples.I like the fact you are trying to figure out if this product works but there are some issues with the procedures and questions on subjectivity. I do think the testing is the best of figuring out differences. Remember in science, the burden of proof lies on who's making a claim. Testing should help figure out differences, if statistically significant, better than one's nose.
With regards to the procedures, are all constants being applied to both the treated and untreated plants? Is the time to harvest, temperature, clones being the same height or close enough? Is feeding the same for tested/untested? These things matter if you are truly wanting to test the claims made by a company. If anything, claims to the contrary are anecdotes.
I guess it would be better to do a double blind test, and all samples but I'm not willing to go that far. I can do a single blind in where I dont tell people terp/non terp products.
