no one gets $18 an acre to not grow corn, that would be simply idiotic and right up a bucky alley. Why would a farmer not grow corn for $18 an acre when growing corn will bring in $1,000 an acre? Math is involved in this, that is why Bucky doesn't understand it.

Of course bucky thinks all corn is the same too, he doesn't know a single thing about corn farming, all of his expertise is on being a hard core to the bone despicable racist and Stormfront veteran.

never said you get $18 an acre for not growing corn, dumbass.

tell us again how denial of service to blacks never caused harm and 10 - 8.70 = 2.30.

not even a decent attempt at rebuttal. just some nonsense about how american corn is superior to mexican corn (hint: it's the same fucking corn you stooge).
That sounds good. But reality doesn't comply with you.

Remember all the gunk found in imported dog food and children's toys?

I didn't read much of the thread, and none of the links, this is a UB thread after all, but the first question that comes to mind is: What is stopping them? If a "majority of employers favor raising the minimum wage", what is stopping them from raising the wage they pay employees?

This question has been presented numerous times. For some reason the OP chooses to ignore it.

plastics from china and corn from across the border are not even in the same ballpark, bignbushy.
How often are the recalls for ecoli in vegetables reported from imported produce from our third world southern neighbors versus domestic veggies? Now adjust those numbers for the difference in volume from imported lettuce to domestic.

It's far safer to eat domestic.

USDA does not apply in Mexico. Their standards are nonexistent.

Even though importation uses some inspection, American grown food is healthier.

How ironic you want to deport some of the jobs we have here to Mexico. What in the world will our Mexicans do if we export their jobs?

"Among employers who want an increase in their state, improving the standard of living of workers led all business-related reasons for their support," CareerBuilder said in a breakdown of the survey. "A majority say a higher minimum wage helps the economy and helps them retain employees."
A national survey of 2,000 human resource and hiring managers done for the job search site CareerBuilder found that most of those managers think the minimum wage in their state should be at least $10 per hour.
Title should be Employees think they should get paid more

the price floor on corn is exactly what keeps it as expensive as it is now. otherwise farmers in other countries, say mexico, would grow it and we would import it for cheaper.
Damn Buck, you think corn is expensive? LMFAO. A future dollaraire griping about the cost of feeding his walrus.

Im SO amazed that an unemployed dope grower, who claims to know so much about anything he decides to chime in on, stays an unemployed dope grower.
