That's what I do.Nothing, do the proper cuts and throw it in the ez-cloner. Roots in 8-12 days, strain doesn't matter.
Ditto!That's what I do.
When I was using rockwool, I honestly noticed no difference in speed or root quality between using gel and not using anything at all.

Thats how I clone also...I use root riot cubes same as rapid rooters...I just soak the cube in roots excelerator and put the cubes in a tray and put some of same solution in it on a heat mat...have a 99% success rate so far...most root in 7 or less days...some a bit longer...I germ seeds the same way...way easy...just put the caldera of the seed facing up..Rootone in rapid rooter plugs. Always works.
Water in rapid rooter plugs. Always works.
I like rapid rooter plugs, lol.
I like a heat mat in there. Cozy.
I second this, after I tried it I never used clonex or any cloning gel again, PLUS you can make foliar spray with the aloe too. I think every grower should have some comfrey, dandelion, and aloe growing at their house.I cut open a piece of my aloe vera plant and use the gel inside the plant as my rooting gel. All natural and it has all sorts of goodies in it to help the cloning process
i'm all for using nothing at all with the aero/bubble cloners etcI never used clonex or any cloning gel again.
more effort sure, but really how hard is it to grow an aloe plant? it's simple, plus I have about 30 plants at my house (non-cannabis), so the extra effort is negligiblei'm all for using nothing at all with the aero/bubble cloners etc
but isn't it more effort to grow another plant (aloe) for rooting gel, than keeping a little bottle of gel in the fridge that cost £4 and last about 2 years or more
that's cool mate, if you are into growing plants anyway, i can see why you made your choiceI have about 30 plants at my house (non-cannabis),
yeah, it all works man, hydro, aero, organic, no till, super soil, miracle grow, etc, etc, etc. It's all a matter of preference.that's cool mate, if you are into growing plants anyway, i can see why you made your choice
man, ya gotta try the foliar spray and cloning attributes that aloe has, good stuff.Aloe grows extremely easy, pretty much grows itself. I have three of them, they do great with very little attention. I don't grow them for rooting gel though, never tried that.
If you already have house plants, aloe would be a great addition and aren't a lot of work at all. They don't even require a lot of light.
Ahaha I'm looking it up right now after reading your post. I've always kept them around for treating burns and bug bites. Seems I can be doing a lot more with them though.man, ya gotta try the foliar spray and cloning attributes that aloe has, good stuff.
i would not grow plants myself unless they are cannabis plants, i am just not that interested in horticulture generallyyeah, it all works man, hydro, aero, organic, no till, super soil, miracle grow, etc, etc, etc. It's all a matter of preference.
For me, as soon as I started doing the aloe-foliar spray on them and visibly seeing the difference almost instantly, I was sold. But i'm an all-organic kinda guy.
