I just use a powdered, organic kelp based feed at 16-16-16. MaxSea or SeaGrow. I never change a thing but the PPM, throughout.Im running low on nutes and want to try a one part solution this time because im sick of mixing all this shit together (using 3 part GH now). Ive heard alot of people say dynagrow and jacks are good but i was looking at a amazon review where a guy said dyna gro was organic. Ive tried trace amounts of organics in DWC and it didnt work out well. Im hoping that guy just doesn't know what he's talking about. Any of you use a one part lucas type nute that you would recomend?
this is not true, i'v ran flora nova for over a year using 5 gallon buckets. there is no guano or feces of any kind in it and that's what clogs your air stones. I keep reading people saying this. it is not true!!! yes half organic but no guano. yes it looks like sludge coming out of the bottle, I also thought it would build up on air stone. but it doesn't. it mixes up and looks like a tea. it does not settle on air stone and it does not leave salt resin on my air stones. almost 2 years of using it. I did get lots of salt build up with dyna-gro though. I use 10 x 5 gallon buckets with 1 six inch air stone in each one and have never! had one problem with flora nova.^^Terrible for hydroponics its partially organic so it clogs up your lines and leaves salt residue everywhere.
Botanicare has a one part nutrient line, CNS-17. There are several different bottles for various parts of veg and bloom, and it is not terribly concentrated- which means it's expensive. No bueno!
Frankly, the quest for a one part nute is a fool's errand and Botanicare has proven it by being unable to get everything the plant needs in one bottle from cradle to chop.
Instead, investigate using dry nutrients such as Jacks, Hydrogardens or Tokengrow. These are much more flexible than the water bottle lines and shockingly less expensive. This gets to be important when running big RDWC systems with over 100 gallons of nutrient solution in them.
I think I'm going to check this product out. The only reason I'm hesitant is because golden tree said it would work magic without aything else and the whole thing was a sham.Use maxigrow powder for veg and maxibloom powder for flower. 2 pound bag costs 15 dollars. I just started using it after a lot of research and my plants have never looked better. I use 2tsp (using the provided scoop) of maxigrow in 5 gallons of water. Puts me at 1.1 ec (about 550ppm at .5 conversion). And in flower I use 8tsp in 10 gal water which puts me at 1.4ec (700ppm). You'll need a bottle of advanced nutrients ph up if you're using ro water. Tap water you may or may not. This is a complete one part additive. Nothing else is needed. Some people even run bloom thru veg with no problems. But it's so inexpensive I just run the maxigrow in veg. No booster, no ripener, no calmag. Nothing else is needed.

Hmm. It could have been too because at the home I had just started growing. Its been a year since I used it. I don't use soil any more just dwc buckets. Can you use it in dwc? This is actually what i went with and it works really well. I haven't used anything else with it except for some arm & hammer to bring the ph back up and everything looks better than it did when i was using the 3 part GH but that is probably more from experience and me being more willing to take care of the plants since i have a simpler nute now.
yeah, thats what i've been doing.Hmm. It could have been too because at the home I had just started growing. Its been a year since I used it. I don't use soil any more just dwc buckets. Can you use it in dwc?
Yep.. maxi and tap water works great. My tap water comes in at about 100 PPM. The small scoop side in 1 gallon of water and I yield 900 PPM/5.6-5.7 a little bit too acid but just fine for a fast vegging mom that eats up alot of nitrogen. Works great for the moms, and if I need to feed new clones, seedlings, no problem just add equal part water..I'm going into my second week using it in dwc. Prior I was using Dutch master. Plants had deficiencies that wouldn't fix even at near 2ec. Now with maxigrow at 1ec, they're a beautiful green that dutchmaster never gave, and growing aggressively. 3x the rate as the same plant in soil next to them. I'll try to post a pic later. Maxi line is very acidic. If you use ro water like I do you'll need ph up. Nute mix puts my ph around 4. I hear tap water balances pretty good depending on what your water is like
fuckin A man + rep x 1000 ........this works with dwc n nft and any other hydro method
http://www.growthtechnology.com/product/ionic-hydro/
i have not used it in a long time, they used to give small bottles away freefuckin A man + rep x 1000 ........
cheap and ph buffered im setting up a hydro system for sure now for my next run
do you use this stuff ? how long can you go before having to change a res do to PH ?
u can try i have never used it but few people i no use it u can use dutch master one just 2 bottles 1 for veg and 1 for flower already mixed and ready to go also u can use house and garden same deal 2 bottles but u use a and b thru out the whole grow i love the shit but by the time u get all the additives u end up mixing about 5 diff things so u do go back to the whole heap of mixing thing again but try dutch master oneIm running low on nutes and want to try a one part solution this time because im sick of mixing all this shit together (using 3 part GH now).
