if you want cheap and easy, go for jacks hydro. i use 3 parts jacks, 2 parts calcium nitrate in both veg and flower. its stupid and very very vheap if you buy the larger bags. super ph stable too, i havent had to adjust shit since switching to it

I've heard Jack's Hydro a lot... Where would I buy that at? All I'm finding is some overly expensive stuff on amazon.

i only buy from them direct, no middleman upping price. its the 5-12-26 one. you can order25 lbs of it and the calnit together for 90 but calcium nitrate can be bought many other places for cheaper you just gotta be sure to dissolve the base in your rez before adding the calnit or precipitates will form.

i was never one for numbers but i use roughly 150 ml of the base per 100 gallons of rez and I change out weekly

I've never tried the hydro version, but regular Jacks Bloom Booster 10-30-20 works fine in a hempy bucket. Here one from this summer outdoors 2 girls in a 16gal coco hempy tub.

There's a sad story to those plants. I live at over 6k ft and a wk after that photo we had a real cold snap for a few days in a row mid sept. This froze the roots and pretty much killed them. A container on the deck is a lot different than planted in the ground. I hi graded a few ozs but they still needed another couple of weeks to finish.

It was fun to watch them crank outdoors in a hempy, at the time of the photo they were taking 5gals of feed every other day.

man, thats terrible. I haven't had outdoor girls freeze but I've lost multiple rounds due to a late wet spell and mold setting in overnight.... so much work gone to waste.

Glad to hear you managed to salvage something.... they looked to have a lot of promise in the picture.

Brand shouldn't matter if it is indeed calcium nitrate. That will work

But strength wise is it the same as the stuff you use? Like can I just copy your dosage if I use that particular CalNit?

nope, It is quite seldom that I have a leaf drop into a table. It is awesome to trim buds surrounded by big healthy fans instead of crispy discolored foliage.
