MMPR documenatation not recognized by law enforcement as "legitimate"

Well I've been using weed since the 80's and have done just about everything.

Smoking while driving is like drinking a beer while driving. If you start off with no booze in your system and just limit yourself to one beer, you are still breaking the law. Same if the backseat passengers drink--makes no sense really but thats how the law is.

Yeah vap pens are way better then smoking a joint, joints stink, you can smell one from pretty far away.

As for my medical use, nope, I don't have cancer, aids, etc. I just have longterm pain from old injuries and I hate pills and alcohol, weed works better for me and lets me live a happy normal life all day and all night long. I bike, swim, stay activate and in shape all year round .. Its easier to get approved here in Michigan for medical use, we got like 130,000 people signed up in Michigan. I believe there is only around 50,000 people in all of Canada approved for medical use. So maybe I don't understand with needing to puff every so often,
I agree with you that the act of smoking a joint in the car is illigal. Getting caught for it is very difficult. I've had to do road side sobriety test twice in 4 years. Passed with flying colors. It's not like open liquor where the open container is enough to get charged for it. Having bud in the car or rolled joints/roches isn't enough to make a charge stick. I was only joking when I said you don't sound like a sick person. Sorry if I offended you. I'm at the point where if I can't smoke all day my only other option is about 12 pills a day. Telling me that I can't freely smoke outside is basically telling me to be a functioning opium addict or stay home. FUCK that noise.

Anything other than dried bud is currently illegal for legal patients to use. In BC it seems to be ok for the moment but the government is appealing every decision in our favour every fucking inch of the way. So vaping might be the only option for some, or smoking it may be the only option. When I have to be out, I have to medicate. Luckily, i don't really give a shit if ingesting it is illegal, I will medicate as I see fit, just try to be discreet about it. If I can't....oh well, I'm still not doing anything wrong and I think it's about time people started getting used to people smoking dope!
Not any more. http://t.thestar.com/#/article/news/canada/2014/08/14/bc_court_says_law_against_marijuana_butter_is_unconstitutional.html If you got caught now you'd would never be convinced of a crime for having edibles or concentrates. You still run the risk of being charged by some dickhead cop but you'll walk clean away from it.

You guys need to make some major changes when it comes to MM, its easier to get powerful pain meds, then it is to get legal weed. Many US states are still like that also, in fact more states do not have MM then do but its getting really close to half the states have MM--but not all those states are as cool as Michigan. The state of California is the most friendly towards MM, i believe New York and Illinois are the worst-hardest to get approved.

My feeling is, if one needs to take powerful pain meds and sleeping pills to work during the day and sleep at night, then they should have the right to also use MM. But I'm not for letting people use both, least most people. Weed can work very well if you give it a chance to..and one is able to medicate when they feel like it !

U did not offend me, I was just explaining its easier to get a doctor to approve you for MM here in Michigan then it is in Canada. How it should be, IMO

I'm almost to the point where I feel that EVERYBODY who enjoys using weed, uses weed in a medical way. If it makes life more enjoyable, isn't that a benefit ?

Happy people making life enjoyable and worthwhile are not great for the money making machine known as government.
Sort of goes against the idea of super prisons they are building to stop charging people with crimes that were filling 3/4 of those buildings.
Its ok for me to take 200plus perks a month and drive to a drs appointment everyday but someone would want to know how many nanograms of thc i have in me?
A fuck of alot would be my scientific answer lol.

Have hopefully what will be the second last update regarding this case.....

I was told the cannabis charges were withdrawn on the basis I am a medical patient. I accepted to do 20 hours of community service to have the hash charge withdrawn. Upon completion I attended court and was told even though my medicine was obtained from a liscensed producer, I would not be getting it back. I will however be getting back my bong, grinder, medical document, and other items they confiscated.....
I wasn't told who to call or where to go so I called York Region Police and they put me through to the department I needed. I left a message monday with no response... hoping for a call soon....

Does anyone know if I have a right to my medicine as it was obtained legally from a licensed producer? I've essentially considered it not likely to happen but I'm curious whether or not I am in my rights to ask for it back

Why not ask them what is the legal reason you are not getting back your legal medicine?
This is the first time I've heard about the hash...
