Sorry to hear you guys have bad luck with that, I have had 100% success without having breeders packaging. That said, when I did order a few things in breeders packaging I ended up fucking up and they all died..... (noobie mistake, moved from 50% humidity to 20% +6800 feet of elevation) so everything dried out faster than I had anticipated.

[bold]I don't care about packaging as long as I get what I order. [/bold]Every seed is like a scratcher sometimes you win the jackpot (like in my avatar to me it was a jackpot) and sometimes you only win 2 dollars. Sometimes you don't win at all.

That's sorta the point of the thread. If you get a little ziplock bag with a few seeds in it, you don't know if it's the awesome gear you ordered from your favorite breeder or if it's just some stuff from one of your least favorite unethical breeders. It could be a simple mistake (like my case) or they could be intentionally deceptive. Breeders have stabbed each other in the back before from what I've read and I'm sure the same ones would have no problem disregarding ethics when it comes down to their customers. I'm glad banks like seedsman, herbies, gorillas, etc delivers with packaging.

@Brobeans how do you know you didn't get what you paid for? I am not meaning this in a dickish way either. I am simple putting it there that seeds can't all be winners. ANd to be honest I haven't heard great things coming from the DJ camp in some time.
I totally agree though if you order a pack of seed why the hell was it removed from packaging. Maybe it is time for seed makers to pony up device that provides the protection and ability for discreet shipping.

Some of the breeders use the little zippies
with there label over the end
i know without a doubht
That i could open that pack and change the seeds
With out leaving any evidence that seeds were changed

Really love mr nice seeds packs
absalutely can not be messed with

This is just how i feel about it
Just a little more time and make it right then there wouldnt be no questioning it

If its junk seeds then there would be no questioning
The middle man of changing the seeds out

gotta dedicate a room to phenohunting bro.. its the way to find keepers and not ruin any of the production room buds in the process.. works great for me. i find the best. toss the others.. runa few times to see if its really a keeper or if it was just a decent run or what. lol .. ive found lots of shit that is amazing from seed.. mainly from crosses i made with shit that i got from breeder packs or clones from a few friends.

The good thing about clones is that they do all the guess work for you, if you go through a reputable company such as Dark Heart Nursery you get exactly what they advertise.

The bad thing about clones in my opinion is that you fall risk into having a strain that might already be flooded in the market.

I like to hunt for my own treasure and it has taken me over a year to find 1 keeper. Even though the people who have seen and smelt the bud in my avatar said it was the dankest shit they have ever tried I am still off finding my second keeper. I am lost in the hunt my friend and clones don't give me the same excitement that a little bean does . I DON"T KNOW WHYYYYYYYY

Aren't Dutch Passions Blueberry the same as Djs? I read he worked with DP to bring them a blueberry they could sell. Either way you're paying a premium for something that countless people say herms.

IMO DJ isn't a top breeder anymore, at one point he was, when there were no other options for quality the genetics the guy with OK stuff is a god. That is 100% my opinion. He has absolutely nothing I would buy. I was interested in his Grape Krush strain but from recent reports it doesn't appear the same as the ones I have read about in the past(4 years ago or so), or perhaps it's just more intended for outdoor. Either way I would not pay a premium for his genetics if he worked his blueberry to the point of it not herming out well shoot maybe he'd have something, right now he's the old guard that hasn't upped his game to keep up with the new cats out there. DJ Short is old news, he's like a 40 year old fighter trying to fight 20 year olds, his age is showing the more young cats throwing knockouts the further into obscurity DJ's legend drifts.

You want blueberry why not find a good Bluedream or something with the blueberry flavour with a bit more stability? I know they are not 100% the same but why risk the hermies on expensive gear?

^the reason ppl risk it is because once u have had the real Blueberry that is a definite keeper - no other taste compares. The high is also amazing. But the taste….idc what Blueberry cross u name, it doesn't come close to the original blueberry taste, especially the blueberry muffin pheno….but even the regular blueberry tasting phenos - have more of a blueberry taste than the crosses which seem to have a slight taste of it or overall weak taste of it. Blueberry is my favorite tasting weed of all time. I would give my left nut to be able to have a good blueberry pheno that lasts me until i die. I would take that over OG Kush, Girl Scout Cookies, and all these popular strains.

Lots of ppl say Blueberry isn't potent enough, however, I have had very potent Blueberry before. Yes, lots of Blueberry does lack in potency. But there are Pheno's out there that have a lot of potency & an extremely strong Blueberry or Blueberry Muffin flavor. When you have a pheno that combines both, theres seriously no better weed out there.

The same flavour profile is given for many many strains. I doubt DJ's blueberry is special, it may have been the source but people have worked it better then he has. Less hermie reports from the crosses. I would much rather pay less and have less chance of hermie. That's win:win especially if it's crossed with something that ups the potency.

I did blue tara it had the smell in flower but straight bubba kush after cure. Will run more maybe I'll find something with the blueberry flavour. I've never tasted it in weed, even from shit I paid $250 an ounce for that was supposed to be clone only blueberry. I've had grape flavour from one strain and that was GHS's Kings Kush (Ick!) I know, I know, but the flavour was there. also the only bud I've never recieved with a dried up male flower hanging from the bud lol It was straight sweet grape, I've had little hints of grape but that shit was full on grape drank.
