Getting Pretty Tired of the Men Bashing

imo,
Only uptight, feminist prudes see it as an insult.
Most of the normal women I know, see it as, and enjoy the compliments.
When I notice other men checking out my woman, it assures me she is sexy.
If she never got those normal glances from other men, I would have to rethink my standards.
Proves you are secure with yourself. My man always takes it as a compliment when other guys look at me "that way." The difference is if I'm alone, then see Lahada's comment below. It's sort of embarrassing b/c everyone ELSE turns to look too….. Also walking alone and getting a catcall is flattering, yes, but I would be very uncomfortable if some guy decided to up the ante and walk alongside me. THAT is why women don't respond. Don't want to invite dangerous shit.

Tbh it's actually quite embarrassing.

I remember years ago walking down the road and you can see there's a building site ahead. You know that they (the builders) are going to say/shout something. Then other pedestrians are going to look over at you. It's not cool, it's just a nuisance.

It's just the boys posturing to each other; no realistic guy ever expects that to pay off. Its male posturing, you gals are just a prop in those circumstances
Yes, but when the guy(s) were walking alongside her telling her saying , "what? you're too good to talk to me?" How should that be handled ? It would be nice to say "thank you", smile, whatever for the flattery, but also there's the concern that it could escalate..

I had already mentioned how a normal woman would have told that guy, who was walking beside her to, "fuck off" ... "get lost"... "leave me alone".. "what are you doing?", or even a dirty look would have stopped the man from walking with her.
But that woman wasn't normal. She was creepy, for the sake of playing the victim.

Besides, she wasn't really alone, she was on public streets, surrounded by other people. I highly doubt she would be risking an attack by turning down the unwanted advances.

There's been incidents. I remember leaving Ministry (of Sound) one night with my gorgeous best friend. Two guys were on us, following us and trying to talk to us. The car wasnt too close. Nobody was around, it was 4am. I quickly pretended I was going to be sick to my friend and they were disgusted and left!! I could have got an Oscar for how I was doubled up in the street! Worked though.

If they are being quite threatening then I've used "It was nice meeting you!" polite way of saying "fuck off!". I learnt that off a friend of mine, a huge black girl who used it on some black crackhead in Brixton. That was at 5am.

How Men React to a Drunk Girl in Public Is Pretty Depressing

"Hot on the heels of the viral “Catcalling” video in which a young woman walked around New York City, the way people do, and men said all manners of things to her, the way men do, there’s now another social experiment sparking a similar conversation about how vulnerable women are treated in public."

"The way men do" ?!?!?!?!?!?!? Dafuq?!?!?!?!

Pure men bashing propaganda. Pretty soon, men will make .65% of what women do for the same job. Our society has gone witch hunt crazy. Those jihadists are not the only extremeists.

Hey Clayton...what would you do if a drunk woman came up to you in public and asked for help to a bus station? I will concede that this pissed me off because she was not drunk.

Well, I wouldn't let her get on a bus where she could get groped or abused by any number of "bus types", or end up some place she doesn;t know. Honestly, I would probably call the police; my days of blind ignorant chivalry are over, but I would certainly make sure she was safe, so someone like padawantoraper didn;t get her home, like this

Ok....so you're a gentleman...calling the police would probably be the "right' thing to do...I think it would be safe to say that not all men would respond the same and stereotyping men is what's really got your shorts in a knot...yes? Truce?

That was totally set up. However, I don't doubt that there are scumbag mother fuckers, like padawanraper, that prey on drunk women. I don't like having sex with drunk women unless I'm just as drunk. They are sloppy and it gets frustrating. My ex-wife would get all loaded and then try to fuck me, I honestly didn't like it. She was too ruff on my cornhole when she was drunk.

Well, when I was a kid my mom was a lot lizard and I saw her get raped a few times, so I get a little protective. She was drunk most of the time, maybe that just struck close to home.
