Why I love jacks is because I have grown pounds upon pounds of buds over the last few years for less than $20 in total worth of nutes. 2 tubs of jacks has lasted me years. So you need to either convince me that your beloved AN either outperforms jacks in yield or that it produces that much higher quality nugs because if all is equal then there is no reason to use AN over jacks...

I don't use AN, just thought I would say nice plants. Oh, and that's one of my favorite episodes, lol. Hand Banana....

Thanks man, she's a good girl. I still need to get a pack. She was what got me started on Bodhi gear and it just stomped in quality what was in my garden at the time (RP/DNA kushes). Tossed those girls out and never looked back.@TonightYou : Awesome plants

I run a 300w CFL tent and pulled 119g from seven plants. Not great by any means, I know... But that's about all I can muster while having another six going to take their place. I get between 100-128g every six weeks in this set-up.
The strain is an OG cut that I brought with me when I moved to Cali. Was about 9 weeks flower.
And yes, they are pretty low-yielding. About 14-20g per plant. But for $30 in CFLs... screw it, my crippled ass isn't complaining, LOL.

im running 300w duel spec cfl's too three on the go at the moment i have just ordered a 600w red spec hps...in your opinion do you think the fact you are using cfl's for the flower process the reason for low yeald... i cant fault cfl 300w duel specs for vedge and if you check my blog i am getting good results from them in vedge. i have ordered a hps for flower am really not sure a cfl is up too the job...your opinion is welcome on the issue-)

Yep, I am 100% positive the CFLs give a lower yield. They just don't have the penetration for anything except the first 2-3 nodes. Everything on the bottom is basically hash/butter material. But, I only smoke about 1 1/2oz's a month, and my step-father smokes maybe a 1/4 to 1/2 a month. He just smokes before bed for his legs. So a QP a month is more than I need at the moment anyways.
I am getting a 600w CMH for myself for Christmas, but I think I might keep the CFL tent going to see if I can squeeze a gram per watt out of it... just to prove to myself that I can.
And yes, that is dry weight.

Use cfl for veg and get yourself an HPS. Worlds apart.

You will easily double your yield if you use HPS or LED over cfl.

in the end if you are getting what you need out of your grow the yokel who gives a fuck what anyone else thinks. yeald is a big deal for me hence switching to hps!!!!

If I double my yield with a CMH..
I would be pulling 1g per watt every six weeks out of my tent.
I think that might be stretching my abilities a little, at least my first run with it.

only way to make decent money without goin to school

If you understand the basic principals of growing plants in general you can use any nutrient and it will work. Just know how to read your plants.@Growerguy420 Lol I like school just not when you went to colledge and still have to push a broom some where lol
