Was it 2 weeks from date of purchase? Curious what to expect, I ordered an XGS.

They just got done setting up new warehouse so shipping will be better. I got mine in two days before they started this whole warehouse change thing. They have good shipping nothing to worry over

I know it's an A51 thread and I love my two A51's. But just since I saw it brought up. I have measured both the CLW and the A51's with the same exact Apogee sensor on a voltmeter. Dislike the setup if you will but a meter with a sensor just applies a conversion factor automatically and has data logging capabilities but that's it. The 440 CLWs perform pretty close to the XGS 190 and RW 150. The 880 has awesome center numbers and stays decent to sides. i have a buddy that usese them and isn't disappointed. I have never used them but on the older models I was not impressed with my buddies older setup, newer stuff is looking good. But as far as numbers and data goes measuring using the same equipment the CLW newer stuff looks promising. My $0.02 isn't worth much more than face value but tha's what I know for what it is worth.

Those par #s may be high but you have to factor in wattage also. If the clw draws 440 and the a51 does the same with 150, 3x 150 would be the same draw but have a much larger core saturation area.

I'm all for a51 but lets not get too defensive before we know the facts...
CLW SS440 = 320w in bloom mode...345-350w full blast with the uvb's going
A51 RW150 = 155w...x2=310w...10 less watts than the clw440
XGS190 =192w...x2=390w...70 more watts that the clw...still 40 more watts than clw with uvb.
It sounded like Skunky compared readings of one fixture, saying they're about equal. Why are you doubling the A51 fixtures? If an individual fixture is "performs pretty close", wouldn't two fixtures perform much better?

skunky runs runs both the 150 and the 190 together...he also said that the 440 is close to the 150 AND one 190...it could be taken either way I guess...but the tone of his post is clearly standing up for the newer clw's. And skunky is very educated and unlikely to not take the difference in wattage into account then post about the clw being good.

My biggest problem with my old CLW 200 was the light set up. As with most LEDs the light goes straight down.. The A51 lights are spread out better which does a better job evenly lighting my tent. Not saying the CLWs arent bright lights, and I forgot who tested it, but if I remember correctly the SGS/RW was putting out similar numbers as the older CLW 400 while drawing about half at the plug.
What exactly did CLW do to upgrade? I'm not hating but they still have that garbage ass 1st generation R/B LED look..

Yeah I'm a little confused too, was he saying that the 440CLW performs equivalently to the other two combined (440CLW ≈ [XGS190 + RW150]) or was he saying that all three lights are roughly equivalent, (440CLW ≈ XGS190 ≈ RW150). Looking back I suppose that the former is more likely, but I definitely read it as the latter the first time I read it.

That's really worth it. I think I paid more earlier this year. Would love a second for a Christmas present. My buds are healthy and a little chunky. Good enough for me.

Hey guys! I just received my RW-150's I ordered a while back! I am very happy with the quality of the light, but I have one defective fixture... a large number of lights do not work on this particular unit. All the reds are fine, but half of the whites do not work. Anyone else have any problem like this? And how is Area 51's customer service in regards to replacing problematic units like this? Thanks!

Good. I originally got a smaller model and It wouldn't fire. Had to pay return shipping but they upgraded me to the xgs190 and got it back about 2-3 weeks later. They had to build first so understandable about wait.
