It's only for exhaust, so it only needs some safety mesh for bugs.

However there is a lot of dust and insulation in my attic.

Yea I guess so....that does make me think.. I might do a cheaper hvac air filter that's like a furnace filter.
...you know cut one up and stick it in between the exhaust pipe and ceiling. It seems like it would be better than the screw mesh that is there right now.

Got some cammo leggings. They fit perfect around my 6" duct. And they look good yo.
