Can I start flowering with only 138w cfl

What's up guys so my 400w hps won't be here till Monday. I'm at 30 days of veg and they're pretty much at there max hight for my space. Can I just swap my bulbs 6 23w , 138w total cfls for 2700k ones and go to 12/12 than by next week I'll have the hps? I've had them under 92watt 6500ks

How many plants are you trying to grow up under it? But yes you can do it. There are many successful grows on this forum using cfl's Good thing, however, your hps is coming soon. Just as soon as you receive the hps install it. But remember cfl's produce less weed, more airy and less coverage and penetration.

Thanks man. Yeah I've seen lots of cfl grows. But with way more wattage. I 2 plants are going into flower. And it will only be for a week. Will they start to flower? If I make the switch today than Monday set up the hps

Since the main reason for switching is due to height concerns why not train them in the mean time. Supercrop, LST, or you could even top/fim them now and they'd still have time to recover for when that hps comes in.
You absolutely can flip them under the CFLs but you might have better options, just food for thought.

Really ughh my issue is that one is out growing my space. I have no prob leaving them to veg all week it would actually be easier for me. She's 12" now and I only have 3.5' of room to floor. I figured 1' girl if she triples in size I'm good still. I'm going to throw a screen over it but I only topped 1 plant once... The smaller one bc it's from a reg seed. I didn't touch the other one that's growing bigger than my space bc it's a female seed and SSH which I'm a fan of.

Also can someone chime in on how you flip. Like with the times. For instance they are in 20/4 lights go out from 12am-4am but I want to flower from 9pm-9am. So do I just shut my veg lights off at 9am then at 9pm put the flower bulbs in?
And it's just going to be from wed-mon that ill use the 2700k cfls. What should I do?

Should I bend and tie down the main branch from the big girl to buy me some time?

some people say do 24 hours of dark i dont just set the timer to the time u want so leaves ur lights on if u are doing 20/4 just when i gets to 9am set it to go off if ur lights are already off just set the timer for it to come on at 9 finish at 9

Rob and Bry both gave good advice. Start an lst and wait on that hps. Both will definitely improve yield.

Thanks guys!! Yeah I was nervous about topping/fim or lst this one bc she should deff be a she. The very top of the plant hasn't really grown and the new growth won't open up if that makes sence. I guess I'll start a new thread with pics and see if someone can tell me where n if I can still fim n super crop. Once I get it down I plan on monster cropping and scrog. Here's a pic of the bigger one from 2-3 days ago
That very top hasn't changed in over a week I feel like I can fim it but when you pull the leaves apart I can already see the new top inside of it. So I was waiting for it to open but she keeps growing lol
Side view. Can I super crop or lst a node or 2 from the top? Bc after that the stalk is super beefy and think and I'll freak out if she something happens at this point she's my baby and we've come so far with each other in a month

Maaaan tie that girl down and veg her another 2-3 weeks then hit her with the hps and sit back with some shades on and watch her just blossom with pure joy!

You can really chop/bend/tie down anywhere, anytime for the most part. These plants are very resilient they can handle these training techniques so no need to be an overprotective parent. It's like having a dog... there are times to spoil them and there are times that they need to be trained, right now seems like a good time to get some training in

Thanks all you guys for the replys!! Awesome!! I also kinda wanted to put her to flower soon bc $$ are going down and I figured let me get this down harvest and I'll have clones and seeds vegging for 6weeks for my next run. So as these are get tubing harvested something yummy will be right behind it 4 weeks or so later. but yea if I can tie her down and train her a bit I'm sooo down.

Soo I've watched a million videos on training but I'm nervous. Can I go a few nodes down on that main steam do a twisty twist and bend that b*tch over? Bc I've tried that and heard a littl snap and in a day it's back straight up and with no mark where I bent it. So should I bend and tie it?

If you bend and tie it just ease into it at first, most likely won't be pliable enough to bend it like 90 degrees immediately. See how far it'll let you bend and then tie it there, come back later and bend it a little more. Repeat this until you're satisfied with the angle it's at.

Exactly, once going to much powerful light the plant will need time to adjust to that much power, so at first she will be stressed....give her couple days to Recover...or your yield and timeline will suffer
