Ok so im getting the compost, worm casting and blackstrap molasses. Sound ok for first brew?
Yezzzir. If you're brewing in a 5 gallon bucket I'd add start with no more than 4 gallons of water, 1.5-2 cups of compost/castings, and a tablespoon or so of molasses. Brew for 36'ish hours.

I usually start off with 3 gallons of water, and then top off every 12 hours with a tea pot full of hot water to keep the brew temp in range this time of year. Not 100% necessary, but the temperature of the brew will effect how rapidly the microbes multiply.

I will probably only do 3 gallons also because i only have 4 plants as of right now that i can use the tea on. I put the casting and compost in the paint strainer right? Or do u just throw it all in the water and let it free float?

You can do either, but I prefer putting it in the paint strainer bag. I think air lift brewers are more suited for just tossing the castings in there without a bag.
