Yezzzir. If you're brewing in a 5 gallon bucket I'd add start with no more than 4 gallons of water, 1.5-2 cups of compost/castings, and a tablespoon or so of molasses. Brew for 36'ish hours.Ok so im getting the compost, worm casting and blackstrap molasses. Sound ok for first brew?
I usually start off with 3 gallons of water, and then top off every 12 hours with a tea pot full of hot water to keep the brew temp in range this time of year. Not 100% necessary, but the temperature of the brew will effect how rapidly the microbes multiply.
