I went to a gun show one time. Where I come from we have gun shows you can buy and sell weapons freely in a gymnasium. They have rows of tables with gun vendors. I buy a box of 30 06, they say winchester silver tip on the box, casings say winchester they are siver the points are silvertip point. So I'm out shooting, getting ready for deer season, put a new scope on bore sight was close. First shot a little high right I adjust,second shot just above target. Bam! Third shot everything goes black, Broke my nose because of a hot load. I pull the bullets out and a tag says they are reloads. The guy that sold them to me lied I asked him I always ask. DON"T GET STONED AND MAKE RELOADS FOR THE GUNSHOW!

Better yet, don't buy ammo at a gun show, reload your own. Can't trust anyone but good old Dillon 1050

Where I'm from you need a license similar to an FFL to sell any re-manufacturerd ammo or home loads even with new brass. I share my ammo with a few friends but would never offer it to anyone who isn't shooting with me.

This is why I use a press monitor on my dillon550b which counts every turn warning any short pulls or missed turret turn- double loads.

It can happen to people with lots of experience reloading is seriously dangerous if you don't do it right the first time.

Shelf ammo for my 10mm - about 75 cents a round
My ammo tuned to my gun with new Starline brass - 32 cents a round
Reloaded brass - 13 cents a round (I get an average of 5 reloads with Starline)

Pretty much the same savings with all the pistol rounds I shoot. I don't really save any money on my rifle rounds, however. =(

Another great reason to build your own is the excise tax. That is 11% you save.
That is why I built the ar. 400 bucks vs 1000-1400 for one you buy.
Palmetto state armory has great deals.

The pistol is by Ares Armor, it is called a Rudius 1911.
The rifles are ar15, and ar10.
I call it a ar10, other call it a sr25 or dpms .308

Theres a kid on youtube, probably a little older now, but this guy on youtube hunts them what appears to be daily in his back yard.
He uses pellet guns to kill them. The guy sells the furs.

When you shake a bullet your supposed to hear the powder. Some of those fuckers are packed solid.

That would be what we call a compressed load, they are not uncommon and are a perfectly safe procedure when done to spec by some one competent in reloading boxer primed brass cased ammunition.

That said, I refuse to fire anyone else's reloads.
