this is seriously something that is one of those " pick your battle situations" there is a very slim chance of this person winning anything against the state on this.

I know here in Canada, especially if you're collecting from social services, they will drug test you. In my mind, this would be far more dangerous to both mother and child because now you've put people who use pot on notice and that will make them avoid things like going for pre-natal exams. I think about big pharma things like thalidomide and really shake my head thinking wtf do you give a woman who's puking her fucking brains all the time....I think at this point I'd take a joint over anything the government says is ok for me.

Probably on public healthcare due to "lack of income". In this case they will test at birth for the state. The state pays your health costs, they get a say.

Except you aren't in charge and make the rules. There had to be a reason for the test in the first place that were aren't being told. Not saying anything against the OP but he is withholding some data, and not saying CPS is "right" but its the gov't a monster juggernaut
