if you eat a true vegetarian or vegan diet
I think its good to point that out. A lot of websites and info out there, especially vegetarian recipes totally and complete abuuuuuse cheese and cream but mostly cheese. I curiously lived with a vegetarian and a day would not go by that she would not eat cheese or make some sauteed vegetables then ruin them with cream. You dont need diary to bring taste to stuff, i think one just needs to cook dishes that people have been cooking for time in other areas of the world without meat and adapt cause those are usually the tastiest. well at least if you lack knowledge in the kitchen and i think sometimes creativity in the kitchen only comes once you understand certain tastes, cooking methods spices (which might be foreign to you) etc and how to combine them.

I like Energyfirst protein they put out clean products without toxins.

Mercola puts out a killer 3 pack for digestive health contains;
organic whole husk psyllium ,
pro biotic pack,
Digestive enzymes made form organic ox bile and other good organic shit,

It is amazing how much of an impact your digestive health can have on your overall well being.
I think being healthy starts there in a lot of ways. I have noticed a huge difference in appetite and foods I crave just from taking charge of my gut health.

The digestive enzymes are super beneficial because it does take a lot of energy to digest food and your body can really start to struggle if it has to work extra hard doing that..

good enzymes and gut health and flora will do a lot of the digestion giving your body a break so it can utilize and produce other enzymes needed elsewhere way more efficient .

For overweight or anybody, I always like to recommend jump soles to strengthen calf, foot, knee coordination which should never be ignored to prevent injury especially overweight though as these are high stress joints, and nothing trains quite like jump soles imo for developing proprietary activators and work calf in 100% range of motion .

hybridization in routine is very important too, as muscles are comprised of different types of fibers and need to be addressed differently to maximize potential development

sprinting short burst, jump rope, plyometrics, etc. or HIIT is proving much more effective at overall calorie burning than long winded slow pace cardio

I usually engage in something I like to do, that helps a lot, sparring is perfect plyometric, HIIT, and long wind endurance all wrapped in 1.. So is mountain biking, basketball, etc

I go into that shit with the attitude I aint got nothing better to do so I just do it, and its all good I like it..

I was a lifter in the Air Force.
I have a wide frame and large bone structure.
Every year for my fit test I was told I was over weight.
I'm 6 ft and at 185 my ribs show.
I had to get taped every year.

You only need 25-30 g of protein per meal. Your going to blow something out eating that much protien.

Stupid high protein diets work great.....for people on STEROIDS.

Stick with .5g's to .75g's of protein per pound of body weight and you'll be able to build and repair all the muscle you need while still being able to burn off fat.

If your goal is 200 pounds, then go with 100g to 150g of protein PER DAY broken up into multiple meals.

Best of luck dude.

150 grams of protein per meal is beyond ridiculous and absolutely uneeded.
Unfortunately just about everyone thinks that protein in high amounts is absolutely needed or else you wither into a twig and blow away in the wind with dust
This is untrue, and you certainly do not need 150 grams of protein per meal. you need like MAXIMUM 250 grams PER DAY, if you are doing endurance training and weight training as well , if youre just going to sit around on the couch and go for the odd jogg or gym 150-200 grams of protein PER day is beyond sufficient.

also your caloric intake is off by a few hundred as well, if you're interested in weight loss and you work out 5 days a week you need to eat between 2700 and 3200 varying per day.

I can for sure say if you stick to your original plan and eat way too many calories and a ridiculous amount of protein you will end up looking like cartman on SP when he did the beefcake episode.

You may want to consider some non biased information on actual healthy lifestyle. additionally it is 70% nutrition and 30% fitness. eat all the unhealthy foods you want if you dont work out your results will be limited.

whatever you put into your body fuels your body for the day.

if you eat a true vegetarian or vegan diet, you dont need to worry about calories because you will be too full before you can get over a giant amount of caloric intake.

NOOOOOO

150 grams of protein for the whole day 50 grams per meal

I'm glad to see you've decided to go natural! Good luck reaching your goals!

What does your planned lifting/exercise routine look like? Where are you going to work out?

arm day 5 sets of 10 for bench , 5 sets of dumbbell curls or preacher curls, 4 sets dumbbell tricep extension and 5 sets of military presses

and in between sets i walk for 5 and sprint for almost 5 so i get 40 mins of cardio i also do 25 sit ups 25 burpies and i do the same things for leg day

and leg day i do 5 sets of squats 5 sets of calf raisers then a light jog for 10 mins and walking for around 20 to 35 depending on if i have shit to do

Upper body day looks good. I love the military press, the bigger my shoulders look the smaller my waist looks! Dumbbell tricep extensions are awesome because they don't blow up my elbows like skullcrushers with a barbell.

I would love to see you add a 3rd "back" day. On this day you'd hit some rows, shrugs, pulldowns and some kind of deadlift or something. The hamstrings, glutes and lats are some of the biggest muscles on your body, and they're all on your back. Training them will have a big effect on your appearance and overall strength. Going from not deadlifting to deadliftig 315 will turn you into a monster on the football field. And shrugs work your traps. In my opinion big traps are the most bad ass of all muscles.

Or if you like 2 days you could do some rows on upper body day and shrugs and stiff legged deadlifts on your leg day.

Yeah, just kind of try out a few different rows or chins or whatever. See where they can fit into your routine or plan. Sometimes it's hard to work legs and hips hard if you're trying to do a lot of running. Are you playing any sports in the winter or spring?

no but when i got out of high school last year i could have done stadium football and i could have tried out for the NFL

i was 230 i benched 210 im around 5'10 and i was a great nose guard and my shoulders are really wide i have a big frame so i had the mass to push people over

i got kicked off the football team when i was 16 for getting in trouble alot and i got sent to a detention highschool but i worked out even harder and i was still buff as fuck

but after i left high school i got fat and lost most of my muscle mass now my bench max is around 160 but im if i can lose weight and bench atleast 300 i will try out for the NFL but that means ill have to build up 140 on my bench max

but to answer your question lol no im not hahahaha

lol ur gonna starve fool need a calerie deficet of about 300-500 below ur maintenece calerie level. id go 300 since ur gonna work out. either way yr gonna need more then 700 cals a day and a full gram or proteinper pound you weigh or ur body will digest the protein from ur muscles.what you need to do is leave all carbs alone. also any sugars... just eat lean proteibs and raw veggies. even limit ur fruits as they have sugar too... never eat less then 1800 caleries a day..

listen to express

In practice, Auschwitz prisoners with less physically demanding labor assignments received approximately 1,300 calories per day, while those engaged in hard labor received approximately 1,700. After several weeks on such starvation rations in the camp, most prisoners began to experience organic deterioration that led to the so-called "Muzulman" state, extreme physical exhaustion that ended in death.

Not sure where you did your math but 700 x 3 =2100 which is more than your 1,800
Wrong information on the carbs as well, carbs are what give you fuel to run your body on you need carbs, just the right ones. sugar from fruit is essential to a diet, so to say leave all sugars as well is wrong.

No offense but there is some seriously shitty advice in this thread from people who clearly know nothing about anything to do with health and proper weight loss.
This thread reads like a campaign for fad diets , and trends throughout 2000-2014.
He will most likely never stick to 700 cals per meal , he needs 2,800-3,200 calories per day depending on how hungry he is in order to maintain a weight loss per week.
