The blue dream and clue cheese moms were freebies from the attitude. I grew them aeroponics and transferred them coco to hopefully control the height but dam that didn't work....lol...I can probably take 50-80 cuttings of them right now. All 4-8" cuttings. I have 30 blue dream and 30 blue kush seeds I was going to do a pheno hunt but I'm going to get a cutting of grape ape that's suppose to be a keeper so I might put the pheno hunt on hold....I also have mothers of cali connection grape kush, grape og, Louis og. I bit off more than I can chew right now.....lol...

Also I was going to do 120 seeds from 12/12 under 2x600 but the tude fucked my order up and I'm missing 92 seeds. I wrote them last night about it but I don't except no reply back til Friday since today is Christmas.

I had 3 cheese strains that got mixed up .. LA Cheese and 2 strains that I forgot. .. back in the day I had 4 * 600 w for bloom. my revised set up is 2 *600 for bloom and a 400w MH veg to get these moms producing cuttings, it a dimmable so i'll drop it to 250W after I take more cuttings.

Missed this Question.

I use tap water, I don't test for pH, I feel its more hassle than its worth . .. from experience, when my plants have had that locked-out look I tend to give them a MagneCal or CalMagic type product... REALLY works great and HIGHLY recommended .. I suspect most times its not a lock-out type situation anyway.

In terms of feeding strength, its difficult to suggest half or full dosage without knowing the brand or formula, but generally I would say unless your seeing some type of burn you're probably not giving them too much. equally, plants can do just fine on half dosage... One thing to consider I guess, in mid to later stages of bloom you probably don't need to be giving them any 'grow' in the formula.

I do ... unless in an emergency and ive left it too late and don't have any time to measure and add nutes and the plants are bone dry.

My personal intuition is that its a better idea to give them a medium strength dosage every feed than a High, low, High dosage.

Others no doubt, will have great success with the feeding every other watering scheme, but I prefer the steady eddy approach.

Thank you . Im so close to having things perfect yet so far away. I love Hempys and the ease of maintenance. Just struggling a bit in the last 3-4 weeks. My upper leafs are turning yellow and wilting yet the bottom leafs are green so I would suppose they are locking out due to salt build up ? I was feeding around 1000 @ .5 ppm / PH 5.8 - 6.2 ( sorry don't have EC ) every watering but will cut it in half maybe and feed every watering or maybe cut it in half and skip one feeding. . I was trying out Maxsea but I think it is very salty.The plants kick ass until about the 5-6th week and then start having problems . Probably go back to Flora series or Flora Nova series.
I built a RDWC system in my flower room and started vegging 8 stand alone bubblers in my vegg room to move to the flower room . I have been successful at DWC before but after fighting root rot and taking up to much vegg room and a noisey ass air pump we have scrapped it and will be filling up the vegg room with more Hempys.

Mo, I was feeding less than half rate using "Heads" modified Lucas formula for coco, I run 65/35 Perlite/Coco. I just stayed in a flush of growth, way to green and leaf tips curling under, sure sign of over feeding. I went to an every other day light feeding and then to a reduced again nute feeding each watering. Liking that a lot!
Of course at present I am starting over, I had one Afghan bean, regular, well it had balls. Got seed order and I soaked 5 Mr. NIce Black Widows in water for 18 hrs and planted directly into my 2 gallon Hempy's. That was Monday, nothing yet showing. I have never gone straight into the final grow bucket before so time to learn some new things.

Any suggestion would be well accepted.

Ooo Yeah .. that WW looks nice n' sticky :) .. Did it have much bag appeal in the smell?

re planting beans to the final bucket, I wish I could say this was a good thing but it's only ever brought me heartache. I assume they cracked/sprouted before you put them in? ..

The way I see it you have a couple of options ... 1. Wait patiently and keep them moist (maybe by using misting bottle) ... 2. Dig one up to check on progress.

I would personally go with the first option as whenever I have tried to dig up sprouted seeds Ive either not been able to locate them or ended up killing a perfectly good bean.

maybe next time plant them into a yogurt pot or egg box before planting in hempy.

HAHA ... yeah back like the proverbial bad penny. .. needed the bud so decided to pick up the old hobby. Not grown anything since I got so rudely interrupted so having to re-learn a bit. LOL

Its great to see so many familiar growers from olde.

I does have great Jar Appeal, and it is just getting better. I completed cure and put in the 64% Boveda packs. The jars when opened has a very sweet floral aroma. Take a bud out of the jar and it has very faint aroma, but break it open and it fills the room. Nice draw, smooth and burns to light gray ash. High is WW! Meds, great for my back spasms and mild pain relief. The few folks that I have shared a few bowls of this with loved it and wanted to buy some, but alas I don't sell at all. This is my meds and I grow just enough to keep me in meds.
I would grow that breeders strain of WW again.

Thanks for the advice, I did create a pocket of coco in the planting hole about the size of a dime an I put the seed in the pocket and capped it with coco. The coco I am using is GH Block Coco. Again this is the first time trying this way, so lets see how it goes. In the past I used Root Riot cubes to start both seed and clones. They work very well.

Here is a pic of the male Afghan I chopped today. I had it trained well, if a female she would of had 16 bud sites. Oh well, can't win ummm all.

Will do. ... short-version: basically I smoked too much and got careless. .. I began not noticing (or caring about) the absolute stench that 100+ plants give off and hey ho, that was the end of my hobby for a while. ... smh.

Howdy all, I have been running hempys for a little over a year now, usually 10l buckets from the euro store and a 6mm hole 50cm from the bottom, all pretty standard with coco/perlite. I have plently of light 600W HPS is one tent and about the same amount of LED wattage in another tent. tents are 1sqm and the other 1,2x1,2. both 2m high. What I am curious about is what yields people get as I find depending on varity I am getting about 30 -65gms dry/ pot. I usually top a couple of times and LST. I grow 4 plants in 1 tent and 5 in the other. I am thinking to double the size of bucket for my next grow to increase yields but it will also be in a new space as I closed the last grow down due to a change of work locations.

For my next round I am thinking of going still with a 1sqm tent and either a 315wCDM/CMH light with around 100w of led or I may just go for 400watts of led diy. I would really love to pull 100/plant. I will be growing C99 BlueDream and 2 LSDs. My lighting maybe a little low for the target but it shouldn't be too far off. I have never been able to get big yields like some of the others here and I am really mistified why.
Any advise or suggestions would be great.
