My plants were small enough that I used large plastic trash cans. Moisture was becoming an issue. I am sure I could have made some vents.

Here is a Mulanje x Mozambique sativa I kept short and harvested early outside through mainlining and light dep:

With Light deprivation try to keep your plants under 5' this makes it easier to cover especially if you don't have help this being said there are a few weed nerds in Michigan that grow outdoors every year with great success its just finding what works, I live in Ontario Canada and I grow TGA outdoors :)

I have seen sheds built with rolling floors. Pull the floor out for 12 hours and push it back in during the dark 12. Seem like it would be easy to automate.

Like a Cuckoo clock!

I'm thinking I only need to do this for a couple weeks. The reason I was asking about the resin glands was I think frenchy or sub mentioned it on the nerd. Some have bigger fatter glands. Time wreck anything else? Anyone try the cbd strains. Pennywise?

I thought I heard CBD strain gives smaller Trichomes, you'll just have to ask around to see what others are growing in your area. Theres a shop in Michigan that sells TGA seeds and clones I believe I'll get the guys name and the name of his shop so you can link with him. Do you know Michigan Grows ? he could be a big help :) Why do you prefer bigger Trichomes ? maturity is maturity doesn't matter how big the Trichome are :)

The Michigan boys that have tga gear is a shop called hydrokare LLC, they are located in flint I believe. I've gone there myself and stocked the f up on tga gear. Solid as all can get and some very good peeps. Knows his way around a garden without a doubt! Also another Michigan seed bank is naturesgreenremedies I don't believe they carry tga but almost everything but.

As far as trichome development goes, obviously genetics will play a roll in that and frenchy has mentioned trichome sizes and there typical sizes mature and immature. We have our environment to look at too. Humidity, heat, ect play a huge roll in development and health. I think a lot of the quality of trichome u produce is genetics obviously and the gardener bringing out the full genetic potential of the plant. My pennywise ladies I grew had normal looking trichomes maybe one pheno had trichs with normal size heads but I did note a skinny stalk leading to the head on one particular lady. Ive ran a lot of subs gear new and older one thing I can say is sub and friends breed trichomes! Terp city and it shows very early in flower the quality of his genetics.

Chernobyl has some killer phenos in it for the extract artist and we have seen those oily blobs of Timewreck hash that's been pictured in the past. Frenchy ran some beautiful cheese quake b4. all showing 1) good genetics 2)a darn good gardener who was on top of his game everyday for 3 months plus. When I look at the health of a plant I grow, the whole story is told by the trichomes. They will let u know real quick the quality of your garden:):) sometimes peeps brag about they flowers only to b dried and given To me to try and I can see real quick who has there game on point, or dialed in garden just from the trichome and how it looks. Let's not forget letting ur plant get too ripe. Seen Alotta nice flowers just gone too long and it literally destroys that quality we look for.

Almost forgot...hit up instagram and search Michigangrows or ocannabis... u want quality trichomes to see those guys have em! Mine is Beuffer on Instagram. If I could meet one grower in Michigan it would b Michigangrows. I always looked up to him because of the quality of his garden. Just missed him at the cup in mich but still met some real cool peeps that day!

Ya I wish the op would post more and respond to more threads. It would be nice to hear what the great dolli lama of hash has to say about everything else. I listen real close to what frenchy says (its hard to understand him with his accent) and hes like a philosopher.
